After another Kamen Rider stole the Nobunaga Ghost from him, Takeru turns his attention towards the mysterious incidents happening around the redevelopment of a shut-down elementary school. However, while chasing a Ganma, the mysterious Kamen Rider from before reappears and calls himself Kamen Rider Specter!
Takeru questions Specter about his objectives and why he has a Ghost Driver. Instead of answering, Specter attacks him instead! While attacking Takeru, Specter asks him a question: “Do you know what it’s like to sacrifice your own life for someone else?”
- Armor-Piercing Question: Specter asking Takeru about sacrificing himself for someone else.
- The Bad Guys Win: Machine Gun Ganma's group manage to complete whatever they were tasked to do without Ghost undoing it for them. Even if they all end up dying.
- Chase Scene: Ghost attempts to chase down Machine Gun Ganma's car on Machine Ghostriker before getting interrupted by Specter.
- Curbstomp Battle: Poor Ghost. Twice. Spectre saw to that. Also, the Machine Gun Ganma, once again thanks to Spectre.
- Time Skip: A very egregious one at that. The episode takes place twenty days after the events of the previous episode in a show where there's a very limited deadline, and yet the heroes don't even note the large skip and instead acting like the previous episode took place yesterday.
