Go To

Pretty throws a party and invites everyone except Kaeloo.

"Let's Play Jetset vs. Jahjah" contains the following tropes:

  • An Aesop: You shouldn't label yourself according to what other people think of you.
  • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: Pretty gives Kaeloo the reasons why nobody likes her: she talks to flowers, she doesn't earn money, and she wears wool scarves.
  • Be Yourself: Mr. Cat, of all people, gives a speech to Kaeloo on the importance of accepting herself for who she is, even if other people don't like her.
  • In Vino Veritas: A slightly inebriated Mr. Cat attempts to console Kaeloo, who is crying her eyes out, by patting her on the back and telling her she's fine just the way she is.
  • Irony: When looking for her friends at the beginning of the episode, Kaeloo calls out for Stumpy and Quack Quack, but doesn't bother looking for Mr. Cat; when Kaeloo needs a shoulder to cry on, Mr. Cat is the only person who bothers to check on her.
  • Karma Houdini: Stumpy and Quack Quack get away with uncaringly ditching Kaeloo to go to Pretty's party and enjoying watching Pretty publicly humiliate Kaeloo.
  • Moment Killer: After Kaeloo stops crying, she thanks Mr. Cat and asks him how she can ever repay him. He says she could transform for him. Kaeloo even lampshades how he ruined a nice moment between the two of them.
  • Ocular Gushers: Kaeloo does that after she got kicked out of the party.
  • Out-of-Character Moment:
    • After seeing Kaeloo getting bullied, Mr. Cat discreetly leaves the party to go look for her, comfortingly pats her on the back while she cries, and tries to boost her self-esteem.
    • Pretty is genuinely guilty for bullying Kaeloo, unlike most episodes where she is perfectly fine with it.
    • Not only do Stumpy and Quack Quack ditch Kaeloo in favor of Pretty, a person whom they hate, but they even watch in approval as Pretty yells insults at Kaeloo and tells her to leave.
  • Slave to PR: Pretty feels bad about insulting Kaeloo, but does so anyway because everyone else is watching.
