Petunia has OCD and Lumpy the plumber is called in to fix the pipes.
This episode (or at least the second half of it) is notorious for being the only episode of the entire series to be banned from YouTube for its content.
"Wishy Washy" provides examples of:
- Accidental Murder: Lumpy kills Disco Bear, unaware that his drain snake grabbed him.
- A Day in the Limelight: Petunia's only starring role in the entire TV season.
- Bottle Episode: Most of the episode takes place in Petunia's house. It's also one of three TV episodes to contain the lowest amount of characters (at three, tied with "Tongue in Cheek" and "I've Got You Under My Skin").
- Break the Cutie: As if getting her house dirty wasn't bad enough, poor Petunia's OCD gets the best of her, she loses her mind and she commits suicide by skinning herself alive with a potato peeler just to stay clean.
- Cruel and Unusual Death: All of them.
- Lumpy stabs Disco Bear in the eye with the pointed end of his drain snake and pulls out Disco Bear's internal organs.
- Lumpy is brutally crushed and burned by a water heater.
- Petunia commits suicide by skinning herself alive with a potato peeler in an attempt to clean herself, only to bleed out.
- Downer Ending: Petunia fails to stay clean and in the process, gets her whole house filled with dirty water, Lumpy and Disco Bear get killed, and she commits suicide just to stay clean, with bloody results.
- Driven to Suicide: Petunia commits suicide in the end of the episode. This also marks it as the only suicide so far in the entire series.
- "Everybody Dies" Ending: The first episode of the television series to have no survivors.
- Eye Scream: Disco Bear's death with a drain snake to the eye.
- Flaying Alive: Petunia finds a vegetable peeler and decides the only way to get rid of the grime off her fur is to peel her skin off.
- Gross-Up Close-Up: After Petunia goes to the basement and sees Lumpy's steamed face.
- Hyperventilation Bag: Petunia uses one to keep herself calm from her germophobia. When it pops into the middle of the episode, she urgently retorts to using a rubber glove as a substitute, which she ends up choking on.
- Laughing Mad: Petunia right before and after she skins herself with the peeler.
- Neat Freak: This is the first episode that establishes Petunia's tendency to clean everything.
- New Job as the Plot Demands: Lumpy is a plumber in this episode.
- Obsessively Organized: When Petunia sees a bottle not facing the right way, she panics before turning it.
- Staggered Zoom: When Petunia sees that one of the lotion bottles in the bathroom's shelf isn't facing forwards like the others, this zoom is used to emphasize her shock as cause of her OCD.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Disco Bear, Lumpy, and Petunia all die in this episode.
- The Tooth Hurts: Petunia brushes her teeth so hard that the toothpaste foam in her mouth turns blood red. A deleted scene would've had her spit in the sink with a couple of teeth falling out.
- Sanity Slippage: Every time her house or her body get dirtier, Petunia feels her sanity chip away.
