The Muse.

Tell me O' Muse, from whatever source you may know them.

Things get complicated when Nick encounters Khloe, an elfin Wesen, after the murder of her boyfriend by her jealous ex-lover. Turns out Khloe is a Musai, whose narcotic kiss makes men crazy. And her latest target is Nick...

This episode provides examples of:

  • Call-Back: Returning from Hawai'i, Hank asks what he missed.
  • Hypocrite: Monroe disapproves of Rosalee's interest in the weapons cabinet in the trailer, noting that everything in there was made to kill people like them. As if he didn't say "Awesome!" when he first saw it.
Monroe: Yeah, it's a veritable museum of Wesen-ology, chronicling the Grimms' proud tradition of hunting and beheading people like us.
    Rosalee: Oh. Nice to know.
  • Karma Houdini: Despite causing multiple deaths, Khloe gets off with only a warning to leave town. This is presumably to protect Nick from scrutiny for his actions while under the influence, and because of lack of evidence. Still, what's to stop her causing more deaths somewhere else?
  • Oh, Crap!: Khloe ensnares Nick mistaking his Grimm power for artistic intensity. She's terrified when she realises her mistake, but soon finds his accelerated reaction exciting.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: As he falls under the influence of Khloe's narcotic kiss, Nick becomes distracted, blowing off dinner with Juliette, then irritable, snapping at Monroe for asking about it, finally turning flat-out violent with a guy in a bar. His change in behaviour tips off the gang that he's been roofied by the Monster of the Week.
  • The Power of Love: Khloe's influence is a tawdry artifice of love: the only cure to her influence is the real thing, meaning that only Juliette can cure Nick.
  • Protagonist-Centred Morality: The episode ends with Anton, Khloe's ex, apparently taking the fall for the murder. Granted, he did do it, but while under the influence of Khloe's kiss. Nick is only prevented from murdering Anton by the gang's timely intervention, so it seems odd that one person being acquitted and the other convicted is presented as a good ending.
  • Room Full of Crazy: Anton's studio is full of pictures of Khloe.
  • So Beautiful, It's a Curse: Khloe presents herself this way, but it's clear that she enjoys having men killing each other over her, not to mention the gifts they give her.
