After playing outside in the rain, Mac's given a ride home by Frankie after he gets sick—it soon turns out that Bloo is sick as well and he ends up turning white as a sheet. But this causing his roommates to think that he's a ghost due to them watching a horror movie. Meanwhile, Frankie is locked out of the house in the rain and is apparently being pursued by a strange character.

Tropes:

• By the Lights of Their Eyes: While hiding in a closet, Eduardo, Coco, and Wilt can only be seen by the whites of their eyes (or eye, in Wilt's case).
• Catch Your Death of Cold: Mac and Bloo get sick from playing outside during a rain storm.
• Contrived Coincidence: What are the odds that Wilt, Eduardo, and Coco would be watching a movie about a ghost on the exact same night Bloo gets sick and starts looking/sounding like a ghost?
• Cowardly Lion: As scared as Eduardo is of a possible ghost, he's willing to jump into action if it means helping his friends.
• Dramatic Irony: Nobody but the audiences knew that Bloo was the ghost all along.
• Genre Savvy: Bloo says that the movie will probably just be a movie about "some silly old ghost in some silly old house on some silly old hill." The movie is actually called The Curse of the Cannibal Ghost of the Haunted House on Horror Hill!

• Halloween Episode: The first one done.
• Hypocritical Humor: When a sick Bloo's flu gets worse and he decides to go to bed early, Wilt and Eduardo mock and taunt Bloo, calling him a "scaredy cat" ... with this coming after the duo were screaming from the scary movie seconds ago.
• Illness Blanket: Frankie gives Mac one once he starts feeling sick, while she gives Bloo her hoodie.
• The Man in the Mirror Talks Back: While delirious with fever, Bloo has a conversation with his reflection in a mirror.
• Mistaken for Undead: Bloo's pale complexion, moaning, and secreting "ectoplasm" cause his friends to mistake him for a ghost.
• Out of Focus: While he's seen at the beginning of the episode, Mac is taken home by Frankie once he gets sick, and isn't seen for the rest of the episode.
• Pass the Popcorn: Coco lays an egg before the movie starts, filled with popcorn.
• Pet the Dog: The normally selfish Bloo takes a moment to comfort Eduardo when he's nervous about watching a scary movie, promising him that it's just a silly movie and nothing to be afraid of.
• Scary Fiction Is Fun: Wilt, Eduardo, Coco, and Bloo start the episode (after Mac leaves) by watching a creature feature on TV. Wilt, Coco, and Bloo are excited to watch the movie, but Ed is terrified of it before it starts.
• Shout-Out:
  • Wilt asks the famous "Who You Gonna Call?" when Coco suggests calling someone to deal with the ghost.
    Wilt: They've been outta business for years!
  • Several references to Star Wars are also made. To name a few, Wilt refers to the supposed "ghost" haunting the house as a "phantom menace", Bloo's reflection in the mirror tells him to "Run, Bloo, run" when the other friends pursue him, and Wilt even paraphrases Darth Vader's "I have you now" when cornering Bloo with a vacuum cleaner.
  • The threatening figure that stalks Frankie throughout the episode is a parody of the Fisherman from I Know What You Did Last Summer.
• Sick Episode: Mac and Bloo both get a flu bug from playing in the rain.
• Running Gag:
  • Wilt saying "Gesundheit!" whenever Mac sneezes.
  • Coco laying eggs, and Wilt being upset at the quality of the item inside.
