After getting bit by a mosquito, Fanboy believes it was a vampire bite and he's turning into a vampire himself.
Tropes:
- Behind the Black: Fanboy gets an actual vampire bite offscreen from Dr. Acula when protecting Chum Chum.
- Comically Missing the Point: While at the park, Kyle says the thought of an "immortal" Fanboy is almost too much to bear. Fanboy misinterprets this at believing he's going to live forever.
- Dumbass Has a Point: Chum Chum actually recognizes Fanboy's supposed vampire bite as really a mosquito bite, but he convinces him that's not the case. It takes him until Dr. Acula points it out does he realize it.
- Gainax Ending: Fanboy transforms into a vampire for real, and he makes Chum Chum one as well, and they go for Boog.
- Here We Go Again!: It turns out Fanboy is not turning into a vampire after all, but when he blocks Chum Chum from getting bitten, he receives a vampire bite for real, and then he becomes a vampire.
- Jerkass Has a Point: When encountering Kyle at the park, the grumpy wizard was actually correct at recognizing Fanboy is not a vampire and only believed he became one.
- No Ending: The episode ends with both boys as vampires with no explanation how they got back to normal by the next.
- Ocular Gushers: Chum Chum bursts into these upon learning Fanboy is going to live forever while he's still a normal mortal.
- Only Sane Man: Kyle was the only one who knew Fanboy was not a vampire. Chum Chum was also this initially, but thanks to Fanboy's stories and idiocy, he is led to believe him. This is not the only time this happened.
- Punny Name: Dr. Acula ...get it?
- Shout-Out: "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" is played on organ by Dr. Acula when he first appears.
- Taking the Bullet: When Chum Chum is about to be bitten by Dr. Acula, Fanboy gets in the way. This causes him to turn into a vampire for real, because his first bite was from a mosquito.
- Vampire Episode: Fanboy is bit by a mosquito and thinks he's turning into a vampire, and he and Chum Chum eventually meet a real vampire themselves.
- Vampire Hickey: Parodied. Fanboy gets a mosquito bite on his neck and mistakes it for a vampire bite, leading to him believing that he has become a vampire. Later, Fanboy and Chum Chum meet a real vampire, Dr. Acula, who spends the rest of the episode trying to bite Chum Chum and ends up biting Fanboy's scalp by mistake. As it turns out, Dr. Acula had bitten Fanboy before, leaving bite marks on his neck on the side opposite from where the mosquito bite is. Fanboy asks himself how he missed the real vampire bite marks. This causes Fanboy to turn into a vampire for real.
- Weakened by the Light: Lampshaded by Kyle in an attempt to prove Fanboy is not a vampire.
