A misunderstanding causes Fanboy to believe he's shrinking.
Tropes:
- Acting Out a Daydream: The dollhouse scenes.
- Captain Obvious: When the mark used to measure Fanboy appears six inches shorter and he believes he's shrinking, Chum Chum comes up with the correct point: "Or the flower grew overnight."
- Comically Missing the Point: Crossed with Dramatic Irony. The audience knows Fanboy isn't shrinking, but he himself doesn't.
- Cool Helmet: Yo gives Fanboy a helmet with goggles that make everything appear bigger before him, making it appear he's shrunk.
- Dumbass Has a Point: Chum Chum was actually correct when he realizes the reason Fanboy thought he was shrinking was because the flower grew overnight, but Fanboy convinces him that's not the case.
- Face Framed in Shadow: Seen on Fanboy as he demands Yo to give Chum Chum back.
- Goggles Do Something Unusual: The goggles on Fanboy's helmet make everything before him appear giant-sized, so it looks like he shrunk.
- Imagine Spot: Fanboy imagines himself walking through Yo's dollhouse when shrunken and trying to get the chocolate bar which will grow him back to normal.
- Inner Monologue: Yo has one to herself when she realizes Fanboy believe he's getting smaller and starts planning to use his idiocy to get Chum Chum all to herself.
- Incredible Shrinking Man: What Fanboy believes he's becoming.
- Only Sane Man: Chum Chum was the only one who initially knew Fanboy wasn't shrinking and his flower simply grew overnight, but thanks to his idiocy, he is led to believe him.
