In 2020, a visitor delivers a warning to Claudia. The day before the apocalypse, Jonas begins to question Eva's motives.

- Tell Me About My Father: Charlotte asks Tannhaus about her parents, and asking if they died, but Tannhaus couldn't tell her anything about them. He does tell her about her namesake, though.
- Title Drop: Claudia from Eva's World name drops the title as she convinces Claudia to join Eva, telling her everything must be repeated.
- Wham Episode: Several main characters die:
- In 2020, Elisabeth is attacked in the caravan by a pedophile and is almost raped. Peter arrives in time to save her but is killed by the man with a knife. Elisabeth then kills the man with a fire extinguisher and is left traumatized.
- In 1987, adult Katharina tries to free Ulrich from the mental ward. She follows her mother into the forest and tries to steal the key card from her, but they start to fight and her mother kills her with a rock.
- Jonas is shot by the slightly older Martha and dies.
- Wham Line: Eva gives the 'A man has three lives' speech to Jonas with a poignant twist to the tale.—Eva: A man lives 3 lives. The first one ends with the loss of naivete. The second one with the loss of innocence. The third, with the loss of life itself. Yours ends here and now.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Eva orders Jonas's death as his main purpose (siring the Unknown) is over.
