Numbuh 5 tries to find an intruder in the KND treehouse. Numbuh 1 orders a complete lock-down of the treehouse but the enemy is already inside, and one by one the operatives are getting spanked.

Now Loading Tropes:

• Big "NO!": As the vampirified Kids Next Door operatives let out screams of pain from the morning sunshine weakening them as the Treehouse lockdown ends, the vampirified Numbuh 1 lets this one out just before the scene cuts to Count Spankulot's jail cell.
• Big "SHUT UP!": The team is considerably freaked out with Numbuhs 2 and 3, having already been spanked, running around the Med Lab clutching their bottoms in pain, and Numbuh 4 running around fearing that he will be the next victim of the Count. Numbuh 5 has this to say to her terrified teammates before she leaves the lab to hunt down the vampire:
  Numbuh 5: [grabs Numbuh 4 by his hoodie after he runs around freaked out] WILL YOU SHUT UP!?! Now, listen: I want you three to guard Numbuh 1 with your lives! [to Numbuh 2] No snacks, [to Numbuh 3] no sleeping, [to Numbuh 4] and no crying like a baby about getting your heinie smacked!
  Numbuh 3: Numbuh 5, where are you going?
  Numbuh 5: I'm going to go give the Count a taste of his own medicine!
• Brought to You by the Letter "S": When the Kids Next Door operatives are turned into Spank-Happy Vampires, their numbers are shown on their medallions.
• Cue the Sun: The Treehouse lockdown lasts until morning, and this is how Numbuh 5 stops the vampires. Count Spankulot himself may be immune to sunlight, but not the victims whom he or his other victims have transformed.
• Evil Costume Switch: For Numbuhs 1, 2, 3, and 4, as well as Numbuh 3's Big-Bottom Rainbow Monkey Doll, when they are transformed into Spank-Happy Vampires. Sticking to the vampire stereotype, all are given pale skin, Pointy Ears, sharp fangs (though how one becomes a Spank-Happy Vampire is through being spanked by one without their gloves instead of being bitten, then spanking back the vampire who spanked them to reverse the curse), the typical Transylvanian accent, and the guys come with slicked back hair, while Numbuh 3 had Messy Hair, whereas Numbuh 1 had no hair to begin with and Numbuh 2 usually wears his flight helmet and goggles. Plus, all their medallions have their numbers shown. The vampires that have these are listed from the following:
  • Numbuh 1's costume resembles Count Spankulot's, complete with the black tux and white gloves, only his batwing cape is red instead of purple, but has a purple medallion. He was responsible for spanking his teammates, having been lured out of bed into Count Spankulot's jail cell, then faked his injury from the R.O.A.D.S.T.A.R. crash while returning to the treehouse.
  • Numbuh 2's costume comes with a blue tux with matching gloves, black leggings, a red batwing cape and a golden yellow medallion. In addition, his goggles are stretched out in triangles for an angry appearance. He was told to stay in the Med Lab with Numbuh 1, but left to get a snack, allowing the vampirized Numbuh 1 to sneak out of bed and spank Numbuh 3 and her Rainbow Monkey Doll for sleeping through the alarm, and then him the moment he returned, with the other three finding him lying face-down outside the lab with the telltale handprint on his bottom.
  • Numbuh 3's costume comes with a black dress with a jagged hem (though she retains the long sleeves from her original outfit, so we don't see her gloves, but the sleeves are also jagged), purple leggings, pink batwing cape and a purple medallion. Likewise, her hair is shown as messy and unkempt as can be. It’s against the rules to sleep through a Code L-62 (Lockdown), and along with her Big-Bottom Rainbow Monkey doll, she was the first victim to be spanked. Numbuh One, faking his injury in the R.O.A.D.S.T.A.R. crash, had to wait until Numbuh Two left the Med Lab so he can sneak out of bed to spank her for this, then the moment Two returned to the lab, he spanked him, too.
  • Numbuh 4's costume comes with a blue tux, white leggings, red batwing cape, orange gloves and an orange medallion. Sticking to the vampire stereotype, his hair is slicked back. Numbuh 5 tells her teammates to stay in the Med Lab with Numbuh 1 while she hunts down the vampire, but before Numbuh 4 could leave to convince her to use the Quadruple Emergency Bypass Code to lift the lockdown early, Numbuh 1 finally wakes up and tells Numbuh 4 to stay in the Med Lab with the others, who were already spanked, while he goes to find Numbuh 5 himself. However, Numbuh 4 defies the order anyway, making him the final victim.
  • The Evil Makeover given to Numbuh 3's Big Bottom Rainbow Monkey Doll, called "Big Bottom Vampire Monkey" when transformed, includes a jagged discolored rainbow (pink, purple and red) on its head, a jagged belly, spiky tail, a vampire's high collar and its classic Mickey Mouse eyes are replaced with glowing evil red eyes. The doll, as well as its owner, who slept through the alarm, were the first victims to be spanked when the lockdown of the treehouse began, as noted by its bottom being ripped and the stuffing falling out.
• Fighting Your Friend: After all her friends are transformed into Spank-Happy Vampires, Numbuh 5 is next to be spanked after she is caught using the Quadruple Emergency Bypass Code. She tries talking them out of it, to no avail, at least until the lockdown is over.
  Vampirified Numbuh 4: [after Numbuh 1 reveals that the others have become vampires like he has, Numbuh 5 bears witness to the shocking truth] You have been bad!
  Vampirified Numbuh 2: And must be punished!
  Vampirified Numbuh 3: Isn't that right, Big-Bottom Vampire Monkey? [the camera points down to the Rainbow Monkey doll she is holding, who has also fallen victim to the spell]
  Numbuh Five: [after screaming in horror and running away, only to be quickly cornered by the vampires, who all laugh evilly] Numbuh One, Count Spankulot did this to you! You'd never spank another kid! You've got to fight it!
  Vampirified Numbuh 1: But I must... spank... naughty... I... I... NO!! You have been bad and shall feel the stingy wrath of Nigel Spankulot!
  Numbuh 5: Not tonight!
  Vampirified Numbuh 1: What?! Why not?!
  Numbuh 5: Because tonight is over!
  [the sun comes out and the windows open, and all four vampirified operatives let out screams of pain as they are bathed in sunlight]
• Final Girl: A non-fatal example. Numbuh 5 is the only one left at the end of the episode who didn't fall victim to the Spank-Happy curse.
• Five-Second Foreshadowing: After Numbuh 1 reveals himself to be the Spank-Vampire and says Numbuh 5 has been bad, her teammates repeat this. This is the first hint they've also been turned into vampires.
• Foreshadowing: On his way back to the Treehouse, Numbuh 1's R.O.A.D.S.T.A.R. malfunctioned, and then crashed. Numbuh 4 points out that despite crashing his ship, Numbuh 1 doesn't have a scratch on him. This is a warning that Numbuh 1 is a spank-happy-vampire.
• Greater-Scope Villain: Count Spankulot is only present at the end of the episode, but is also the one responsible for vampirizing Numbuh 1 by luring him into his cell with his hypnotic powers, and Numbuh 1 then went on to spread his vampirism to the others, even right down to Numbuh 3's Big-Bottom Rainbow Monkey doll.
• Hoist by His Own Petard: Count Spankulot's revenge gets ruined when inadvertently reveals to Sector V, who are posing as prisoners, that in order turn themselves back to normal that they have to spank him. Then the kids reveal themselves and do just that.
• "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight: After learning the terrifying truth that Numbuh 1 is a vampire and was responsible for spanking the rest of the team, Numbuh 5 tries to talk them out of spanking her, but she fails.
• Lockdown: The premise of the episode, also known as a Code L-62.
• Messy Hair: For Numbuh 3 when she turns into a Spank-Happy Vampire.
• Red Eyes, Take Warning: For Numbuh 3's Big-Bottom Rainbow Monkey doll when it’s transformed into a Spank-Happy Vampire, with its classic Mickey Mouse eyes being replaced with glowing evil red eyes. Then again, it's a stuffed animal, so it can't really attack.
• Stupidest Thing I've Ever Heard: A fearful Numbuh 4 demands for the Treehouse to be taken out of lockdown so they can escape Count Spankulot after Numbuhs 2 and 3 were just spanked, but Numbuh 2 explains that the lockdown lasts until morning... unless you enter the Quadruple Emergency Bypass Code, which overrides any treehouse computer command. Numbuh 2 remembers the code when he’s chewed out by Numbuh 4 for forgetting to put in an emergency exit, which leads to this exchange:
  Numbuh 4: Why didn't you say so before!? You have to use that code so we get out of here!
  Numbuh 2: I can't! Only Numbuh 5 has the code, and she's not even allowed to use it.
  Numbuh 4: Why in the name of crud not?!
  Numbuh 2: It's the rule! The code's so important, no one's allowed to use it!
  Numbuh 3: THAT'S THE STUPIDEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD!
• Temporarily a Villain: The Sector V Operatives turned into Spank-Happy Vampires.
• Vampire Episode: The climax of the episode reveals Count Spankulot wasn't really behind the spanking during the lockdown, but Numbuh 1. Count Spankulot lured him out of bed into his jail cell with his hypnotic powers and then spanked him without his gloves, turning him into a vampire. Afterwards, Numbuh 1 ordered the lockdown in order to spread his vampirism to the others for every rule that was broken: Numbuh 3 for sleeping through the alarm and Numbuhs 2 and 4 for leaving the Med Lab after they were told not to (the former for getting a snack and the latter for wanting to convince Numbuh 5 to use the Quadruple Emergency Bypass Code to lift the lockdown early). Numbuh 5 would've been next for trying to lift the lockdown if the sun didn't rise Just in Time.
• Vampire Vords: The vampirized KND members all talk in the same dramatic Eastern European accent used by Count Spankulot.
• Weakened by the Light: Only those Count Spankulot turns into vampires have this weakness, whereas the Count himself is immune to sunlight. It's implied that being exposed to the sunlight snaps the four out of their Spank-Happy rage, as the next time they're shown they're cognizant enough to work with Numbuh 5 in spanking the Count to return them to their former selves.
