It's the DCFDTL's birthday again and once again they plan to make everyone watch while they eat it themselves; this time around they've hightailed it to a foreign castle and are going to broadcast it to kids worldwide. The KND decide to attack by shooting eggs at them, reasoning that this won't harm the cake since cakes have eggs in them. Unfortunately this plan backfires when the eggs hatch and the chicks become attached to Numbuh 1. Now the KND must babysit the chicks while trying to carry out their mission.

Now loading Tropes:

  • The Bad Guy Wins: Averted. The KND win their battle against the DCFDTL and are about to take the cake to share with the other kids but then the chicks poop on it, unbeknownst to the latter. The KND then leave, pretending that they've decided to give them a break, deciding that tricking them into eating a soiled cake is way funnier (though the kids watching on TV are disgusted).
  • Bittersweet Ending: Played for laughs. As mentioned, the KND technically fails their plan to retrieve the cake and have to let the DCFDTL eat it, but while this was just a trick after what the chicks had already done to the cake, they're still broadcasting around the world, leaving all the kids watching to be grossed out as a result.
  • Black Comedy: Numbuh 4 wonders out loud if the chicks would make decent chicken fingers.
  • Cuteness Proximity: Numbuh 3's reaction upon seeing the chicks is to pick an armful of them up and cuddle them.
  • Do Not Adjust Your Set: The DCFDTL hijack TV signals to make kids watch them eat their cake.
  • Equippable Ally: The chicks actually prove useful by forming a battle suit and weapon, allowing Numbuh 1 to win the battle.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: The DCFDTL's plan is foiled by them hijacking the airwaves, which causes the chicks to see what their giant robot is about to do Numbuh 1, and come to rescue to defeat their robot then ruin their cake when they have to go to the bathroom.
  • Insane Troll Logic: Why Numbuh 1 takes on Numbuh 2's plan: cakes are already made out of eggs anyhow, so if a million eggs splat onto it, it's not going to ruin it. Then again, it never occurred to him about the health risks of eating raw eggs.
  • I Warned You: Numbuh 5 suggests Sector V build a giant robot so they could fight it against the giant robot the DCFDTL will likely have waiting for their arrival. In the climax, she's right.
Numbuh 5: You see? What'd I tell ya? Giant robot!
  • Imprinting: Because the eggs were in Numbuh 1's room when they hatched, the chicks all see him as their "mommy".
  • Match Cut: After Numbuh 1 says that Numbuh 2's egg plan is "brilliant", it cuts to him "That's stupid!" in regards to the eggs being in his room.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: If the DCFDTL hadn't hijacked every child's television in the world (including the one the chicks were watching), then the chicks might not have witnessed their "mommy" Numbuh 1 in trouble and come to his aid.
  • Oh, Crap!: Numbuh 1 when Numbuh 3 realizes the chicks, which he's covered in, need "to go potty."
  • Punctuated! For! Emphasis!: After Numbuh 1 learns of the egg plan, he goes "That. is. BRILLIANT!" When it cuts to him having to keep all the eggs in his room, he goes, "This. is. STUPID!"
  • Produce Pelting: The team's initial plan. Since cakes are made of eggs, they wouldn't harm the birthday cake. Unfortunately, the plan fails when the eggs hatch in the middle of the night.
  • Running Gag: The chicks keep having to go to the bathroom.
  • Ruritania: The DCFDTL's castle is stated to be in "Lower Spreckenheim", which a map shows to be somewhere in Eastern Europe near Russia.
  • Toilet Humor: Every time the chicks need bathroom breaks, they are urgently sent outside, relieve themselves off screen, let out a relieved sigh, then return while a foul stench floats across the screen.
