16-year-old Minnesota twins Brenda and Brandon Walsh move with their parents to the glamorous Beverly Hills when their father is promoted at work. Daunted by the vastly different lifestyles of the rich and famous, the twins try to adapt but find their grounded values appeal to the local kids swallowed by this fast-paced life. Their new friends include aloof loner, Dylan McKay; neurotic overachiever, Andrea Zuckerman; jerky jock, Steve Sanders; beauty queen, Kelly Taylor; and tagalong girl, Donna Martin. Freshmen David Silver and Scott Scanlon try to find their place.
