Brenda meets Kelly's mom, Jackie, and thinks she's really cool compared to Cindy. But Kelly hides that her mother is an alcoholic and drug addict, for whom Kelly is more the caretaker. When Jackie MCs a mother/daughter fashion show, she does cocaine and Kelly is horrified, finally confiding what's going on to Brenda. Cindy helps comfort Kelly, and Jackie goes to a treatment center.
