This two-part season premier was later renamed from "Allen" to "Aqua Unit Patrol Squad 1".

Part One:

The Aqua Teens have re-branded themselves as the "Aqua Unit Patrol" and are now detectives. After a failed investigation they visit Dr. Weird's lab, where Master Shake freezes himself in a cryogenics chamber.

Part Two:

Nine years in the future, Shake discovers the world is now controlled by a god-like figure named Allen who kills anyone who misbehaves in order to maintain the world as a Utopia where everyone has respect for one another.

"Allen" contains examples of:

  • Abhorrent Admirer: Shake's horrified to learn an alien named Danny has been making love to his face for nine years straight and treating the entire thing like it was a consensual relationship.
  • Brick Joke: It's revealed that the eponymous character is actually called "Alien" during the 2nd part, but a typo is the reason everybody calls him "Allen" instead.
  • Bolt of Divine Retribution: Almost anything remotely bad will cause you to get blasted by lightning.
  • The Bus Came Back:
  • Call-Back: The episodes "O'l Drippy", "Multiple Meats", and "Super Bowl" are shown in Allen's TV screens to show how much Shake has been a Jerkass over the years.
  • Cluster F-Bomb: Frylock lets out an epic one in an attempt to get Allen's attention. He gets Allen's attention alright.
  • Face Full of Alien Wing-Wong: While in cryo-sleep, Shake's face is impregnated by an alien named Danny, seen humping his face the entire time he's unconscious. Shake later has them all removed at an abortion clinic.
Master Shake: "I'd like 1200 face abortions. Can I get a discount because I'm getting them in bulk?"
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Shake as usual. Subverted. Meatwad truly cares about Shake this episode and wants to rescue him.
  • Gag Penis: Danny has a very long, rope like penis that he takes a good couple of seconds retracting from Shake's face.
  • Gosh Dang It to Heck!: Both Frylock and Meatwad curse out Allen when they find out he has Shake. Meatwad's cursing is far more mild than Frylock's, who instead gives Allen a straight-up Cluster F-Bomb.
  • He Who Fights Monsters: Played for Laughs. Allen kills people if they're being bad, but Shake of all people points out that killing people is itself bad. Allen just simply tells him to shut up.
  • Human Popsicle: Shake freezes himself for nine years, believing that there would be more crime in that amount of time for him and the rest of the Aqua Teens to uncover.
  • Marshmallow Dream: Shake dreamed about Danny humping his face as eating the world's largest hotdog.
  • Mistaken for Cheating: Played With, given it's Shake who does this rather than anyone in a relationship. He's convinced his client has a husband who hired him to find out if he's having an affair. He harasses a man clearly capable of hospitalizing him when he assumes he's the cheating husband, which he ends up doing. Frylock got back in touch with her after Shake's brutal beatdown and it turns out she hired Shake to find her cat, with Meatwad stating they now have to return the money they spent on food.
  • No Ending: The episode abruptly ends with Frylock, Carl and Allen being killed, Meatwad fleeing from the scene and Shake being given all of Allen's powers.
  • Revisiting the Roots: Played With; Shake actually wants to go back to their previous life as detectives, but the Aqua Teens are so incompetent at their jobs that Frylock thinks they're better off with their current lives. This is actually what kicks off the plot.
  • Shout-Out: Danny is very obviously based off a Facehugger.
  • Smart Ball: Despite largely being an impatient moron, Shake manages to successfully bluff Allen and steal access to his ship.
  • They Killed Kenny Again: Both Carl and Frylock get blasted by Allen's lightning. Also notable for being one of the few episodes where Frylock dies as well.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone: This is the only two-parter episode Shake survives, and the only episode where Frylock dies but Shake doesn't. And unlike most episode, Shake largely doesn't bring it on himself.
  • True Companions: Meatwad considers Shake to be a true friend. Shake, meanwhile, wants Allen to kill Meatwad after finding out.
