When Meatwad wins tickets to the Super Bowl, Shake and Carl try to win his interest so that he takes one of them.
- All for Nothing: Shake and Carl's attempts to get Meatwad to take one of them doesn't just end with him deciding to take the newly introduced Boxy Brown instead, but Meatwad didn't even go to the Super Bowl. He unknowingly left the tickets and went to a farm.
- Best Friend: Carl and Shake try to get Meatwad to see one of them as this so that they can go to the Super Bowl.
- Blatant Lies: After Shake falls down from overeating, Frylock asks for Carl to help him get him to a clinic. Carl says sure as he's leaving. Frylock asks if Carl is being sarcastic, only for Carl to say no as he shuts the door.
- Downer Ending: The tickets are ultimately unused due to Meatwad clearly not knowing where the Super Bowl actually is, and Shake gets diabetes and cancer from eating numerous bags worth of Enchiladitos to get other tickets.
- Foreshadowing: Meatwad's clear lack of knowledge on what Football even is hints that he has no idea what the Super Bowl actually is or where to go.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Shake is usually cruel toward Meatwad For the Evulz, but his anger towards him here is understandable with him withholding tickets that ended up being neglected.
- Never My Fault: That said, Shake still has himself to blame for his health issues; no one forced him to eat through all of the chips to (fruitlessly) look for more tickets.
