Radar / Shrek 2

Go To

  • When he first appears, the Big Bad Wolf is reading a magazine titled "Pork Illustrated". The cover has a pig in lingerie.
  • Between Fiona jumping Shrek on the beach and their tastefully trying to shoo Donkey out of their house, the movie really doesn't skirt around the fact that Shrek and Fiona are having fantastic newlywed sex every time they aren't onscreen.
  • This line in the Fairy Godmother's song:
They'll write your name on the bathroom wall / For a happily ever after give Fiona a call!
  • In the first scene with Puss, Shrek cries out for Donkey to get the would-be assassin off, and Donkey kicks the ogre right between his legs. Donkey then asks, "Did I miss?", and Shrek chokes out, "No, you got them." as he keels over in pain.
  • When Jerome, the Fairy Godmother's doorman, presses the button on the intercom to speak to her, look very closely and you can see that he does so with his middle finger.
  • When Donkey drinks the potion, he asks Puss in Boots if he looks different. He replies "You still look like an ass to me".
  • Shrek has turned into a handsome human and is being fawned over by three maidens. Two of them try to ease the confused Shrek's tension by rubbing his shoulders. The third complains "I don't have anything to rub."
    • Additionally, when Donkey says Shrek needs to change his clothes, all the girls smile and squee.
    • When Puss reads the label of the transformation potion, which says that its effects will become permanent if Shrek gets his true love's kiss by midnight, two of the ladies declare "I'll be your true love!" while the third goes "I'll be true... enough."
  • In a decidedly less funny manner than most of these examples, the Fairy Godmother demanding King Harold give Fiona the Love Potion is portrayed as, for all intents and purposes, ordering him to dose his daughter with a date rape drug so she won't fight back when Charming has his way with her. This is what finally prompts Harold's Heel–Face Turn.
  • During the Knights scene, some knights can be seen giving the headless horseman a DUI test. While arresting Puss In Boots, they find a bag of Catnip on him - and in fact, if you look closely, you can see that the knight was already carrying the catnip before claiming Puss had it.
  • Pinocchio is wearing ladies' underwear (a thong to be exact). The UK version cuts the actual visual of Pinocchio wearing the thong, but the part where he denies it was left in.
  • The Hungarian dub had the line "And he's gotta be fresh from the fight" in the climax's rendition of "Holding out for a hero" translated as "And even in the bed he's gotta hit the mark!" In Hungary, the film was rated for all ages.
  • During the final battle, a pig holds onto the Fairy Godmother's leg and peeks up her dress, shouting "I see London, I see France."
