Every first-person game seems to have these tiny little enemies that hop at your face, are hard to hit and, worst of all, are unsatisfying to kill.
Countless Zubats have infuriated players with Supersonic spam that always seems to make you hit yourself... Sure you could catch Zubat yourself, but all it knew was the horribly weak Leech Life until about 10 levels after you caught it, where it would learn the almost as weak Bite and remain useless for basically the rest of the game.
