Cheshire Cat Studios is a podcast where a group of friends chat on a round table discussion on the latest events that have been happening in the entertainment industry. Despite being named after the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, the podcast doesn't talk about that series, although they do talk about Disney from time to time. The channel originally launched in 2010 by CineMax as it was known as CineMax21, but the first episode didn't happen until a year later in 2011. Some of the core members include Laughing Man and Inverted Mind Inc.

The podcast somewhat came to a halt in early 2020 a few months before the COVID pandemic (though on their SubscribeStar made this announcement a year earlier). In their latest video, the renaming members of the podcast stated they were burned out from the animation movements and how YouTube was treating the platform. They wanted to create a gaming studio called "Black Shepherd Studios" and are planning to make a graphic novel, which turns out to be Your Boyfriend.

Cheshire Cat Studios provides examples of:

  • Cheshire Cat Grin: Because it's named after the namesake, the logo is based on the Disney Cheshire Cat smile.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness:
    • The first episode is very different from the later ones. Aside from audio quality, there's no animated segments featuring the hosts as Fuboo hadn't drawn them yet, and CineMax was the only one to reveal his face at the end.
    • The early episodes lack female hosts.
  • Halloween Episode: There's a 4-part Halloween special where each member of the crew plays a different horror game. Laughing Man plays "Haunting Hour", CineMax plays "Condemned: Criminal Origins", Fuboo plays "Settled" and Katie B. plays "Nevermind".
  • Limited Animation: The animated parts of the members re just mostly static poses that slightly shift and change depending on the expression. Later episodes were given more movements such as mouth flaps and eyes.
  • "No. Just… No" Reaction: CineMax at one point received some rather "interesting" fan-art that Katy B and LaughingMan tease him over. Max is, in his words, "too indignant to give a response".
  • Non-Indicative Name: As stated, the podcast doesn't talk about Alice in Wonderland. However, they do talk about pop culture such as Disney and Marvel.
  • People Fall Off Chairs: In the episode where the group discuss the pitfalls of movie rating systems, a crude joke made by CineMax has LaughingMan fall off his chair in hysterics.
  • Put on a Bus: Some of the recurring members of the podcast left to pursue other careers.
    • B-Mask was part of the crew around the early 2010s after it was founded, but left around 2014-2015 to do his own videos.
    • Kenny left in early 2015 after "Game Glitch Radio" ended by 3 episodes.
    • Katie Bolte joined the Podcast in 2013 when "Game Glitch Radio" started, but left after 2016.
    • Despite being the guy who started the podcast, CineMax left around 2017-2018.
  • Quietly Performing Sister Show: There was another series created by Kenny and Fuboo that was made in conjunction with the podcast called Game Glitch Radio that was made to talk about video games. This was quietly canceled as Kenny left in 2015 and was merged back to the main show.
  • Signature Laugh: The creator of CCS is known as "LaughingMan", and there's a good chance you'll hear his signature maniacal laugh a few times each episode.
