Basic Trope: A warrior, a magic user, and a trickster working together.
- Straight: Titus is a super fighter with his big Cool Sword, Magnus is a powerful sorcerer with his Magic Staff, and Rufus is the carefree, sneaky thief with Super-Speed and doesn't follow any conventional rules.
- Exaggerated:
- Those are their only character traits - Titus has Super-Strength and Implausible Fencing Powers that he urges to use force without any question, Magnus is the Master of All magics who can control a vast amount of elemental forces, and even contact the spiritual world, Rufus is the master of escaping that can teleport at insane speed and Back Stab the enemies without any caught, all of them can tag team and win the battle via Curb-Stomp Battle.
- The Geodesic Cast has a fighter, a mage, and a thief on every team.
- Downplayed: It's clear that Titus is a warrior, Magnus is a mage, and Rufus is a thief, but they have many character facets, or perhaps there are some overlaps.
- Justified: Titus is a Proud Warrior Race Guy and raised by a veteran knight family, Magnus is raised by a mage family from the village of mages, and Rufus either grew up in a lower-class family or is an orphan, so he needs to survive by thieving and robbery.
- Inverted: All three protagonists are ordinary peasants who live together in a village, but Titus is weak and terrible at fighting, Magnus hates magic and refuses to interact with any magical objects, and Rufus is loud and extremely unstealthy.
- Subverted: It becomes clear that Titus's strength is just a lie, Magnus uses a Fake Wizardry, and Rufus is a Bad Liar.
- Double Subverted: But these are Fake Weakness, otherwise, they fit the archetypes.
- Parodied: Strong warrior Titus, powerful sorcerer Magnus, and stealthy thief Rufus band together to form...a law firm.
- Zig Zagged:
- Matthias joins them from time to time, who does not fit any of these archetypes.
- Titus is The Paladin, Magnus is a Mage Marksman, and Rufus is a Lightning Bruiser, so they can switch positions depending on the situation.
- Averted: No one or all of them are fighters, mages, or thieves.
- Enforced: The creator of Role-Playing Game wants characters that players can choose for their preferred fighting tactics, or for different quests.
- Lampshaded: "A warrior, a mage, and a thief? Ah, you three must be an adventuring party!"
- Invoked: Magically Inept Fighter, Squishy Wizard, and Fragile Speedster know their weaknesses so they band together to support each other.
- Exploited: Rufus, secretly a villain attempting to destroy any potential threats to his plans, disguises himself as a good-natured thief, and asks to join Titus and Magnus's party. The two agree that they need a thief to complete the trio, and allow him to join.
- Defied: Titus, Magnus, and Rufus refused to band together.
- Discussed: ???
- Conversed: "The Sword and Sorcerer? I think they might add a thief later on in the series."
