Basic Trope: A character (typically male) employs only attractive women as personal bodyguards.
- Straight: Emperor Evulz's bodyguards are exclusively young, good-looking women, all with a certain body-type and wearing clothes that seem oddly revealing for their line of work.
- Exaggerated:
- Every single employee in Evulz' entire evil organization, including administration, accounting, and marketing, are attractive women.
- Evulz' bodyguard squad consists of beautiful women from around the globe, and each of them wears a bikini or similarly skimpy outfit based on their nationality, like a weird beauty pageant.
- All of Evulz' bodyguards are required to be topless or completely nude, as Evulz believes the best defense is distraction. The bodyguards might be exhibitionists anyway, genuinely believe in its tactical utility, or are actually not that thrilled about the dress code.
- Downplayed: Some of Evulz' bodyguards are women, but not all. He simply doesn't discriminate bodyguards based on gender.
- Justified:
- Evulz figures if he has to stare at guards all day, why not have guards that are pleasant to look at?
- After a fateful incident in his childhood, Evulz no longer trusts men.
- His bodyguards are also paid to be prostitutes, so if Evulz gets stuck in lockdown with them, he has a way to pass the time.
- Inverted: All of Evulz' bodyguards are unattractive women.
- Gender-Inverted: All of Evulz' bodyguards are men.
- Subverted:
- No women apply to be bodyguards in Evulz' organization.
- Evulz is so powerful, he doesn't really have any need for bodyguards.
- Double Subverted:
- Evulz transfers women from other departments in the organization to security, citing some new policy that everyone should understand how all the pieces of the company fit together.
- Evulz likes having eye candy to ogle, so he keeps a squad of them around anyway.
- Parodied: Intel warns Agent Bob that Evulz maintains a personal army of beautiful tigresses that'll tear him apart and gorgeous vixens with catlike reflexes. Bob smirks as he rounds the corner, ready to seduce them. It turns out Evulz' bodyguards are immaculately groomed, literal female tigers and foxes.
- Zig-Zagged: Some of Evulz' bodyguards are women, and of the ones who are, there's no standard for personal attractiveness. Evulz asks indignantly, why? Is that supposed to matter?
- Averted: Evulz simply doesn't have bodyguards.
- Enforced: "We need Fanservice, but don't want the women to look like sluts. Let's make it so all of Evulz' guards are gorgeous, and required to be scantily clad!"
- Lampshaded: "You ever notice that all of Evulz' bodyguards are women? Not that I'm complaining."
- Invoked: One of Evulz' advisors points out that morale in the organization is low. After discussing some options, Evulz says he thinks the best thing for morale is to hire on gorgeous supermodels as bodyguards, for everyone to gawk at. The new bodyguards are hired the following day.
- Exploited:
- Agent Bob storms the compound with an exclusively male team, and uses knockout gas grenades with a special gas engineered to work only on women.
- Agent Bob realizes that their skimpy outfits make them especially vulnerable to Clothing Damage. With some comically precise gunfire, he shoots their various buckles, buttons, and brastraps in rapid succession. All at once, the bodyguards' clothes fall off, in front of Bob and his very appreciative team. Cue lots of shrieking and awkward, bouncing hand bras as they flee.
- The bodyguards realize they're in danger of losing, but also notice that Bob's agent team is exclusively men. The bodyguards emerge from their cover, then undo and open their tops toward the team in unison. The team stares goggle-eyed at the bodyguards, and are then promptly ensnared by a net launcher.
- Defied: Evulz asks his advisor, what if all of their bodyguards were attractive models. His advisor points out how impractical that is, for a host of reasons.
- Discussed: "It's Evulz' Elite Guard Unit! Check them out, wowza."
- Conversed: "So all of Evulz' bodyguards are hot, skimpily dressed women." "Villains get all the perks."
- Implied: Back at base, Agent Bob tells his squad how defeating Evulz wasn't so bad, once you got past his squadron of elite assassins, who were all armed with big, bouncy... torpedoes.
- Deconstructed:
- One of Evulz' former bodyguards, a man, sues Evulz for gender discrimination.
- The bodyguards complain to Evulz that the compound is cold, on account of their skimpy outfits.
- The bodyguards have to put up with a lot of leering and catcalls from other compound staff.
- Reconstructed:
- Evulz makes a bet with his former bodyguard that if he can defeat his new bodyguard squad, Evulz will give him the money, but otherwise the ex-employee will drop the case. The former bodyguard assumes this will be easy, but when he arrives at the meeting place, the new bodyguards promptly shed their uniforms, and approach him giggling as he stands there stunned. Later, the lawsuit is mysteriously dropped.
- Evulz turns up the heat in the compound.
- Evulz permits the bodyguards to strike anyone who leers at them. The catcalls stop pretty quick.
- Played for Laughs:
- Under the pretense that one of them might be wearing a wire, Evulz makes sure to thoroughly strip-search each one of his bodyguards every day. The bodyguards don't mind, as they're getting paid well and know they're working for a villain, but they do think the naked jumping-jacks and oil scrubdown portions are a tad excessive.
- Evulz will trigger "lockdown mode" under the flimsiest pretenses, and subsequently take cover in cramped areas like a locker, under a table, or inside a broom closet, with one of his bodyguards in tow.
- Evulz keeps his bodyguards impeccably well-trained. He makes sure to train them in physical fitness, the geography of the compound, the maintenance of all of his vehicles, and even underwater operations.
- Agent Alice infiltrates Evulz' organization by pretending to be one of his bodyguards, which seems like a terrific idea until she realizes she infiltrated on the day that they're having their annual Topless Bodyguard Charity Calendar photoshoot. When Agent Bob has a rendezvous with Alice later, he overhears another guard call her "Miss December," so he asks her what that means. Alice rolls her eyes and says it's not important.
- Played for Drama:
- More than one bodyguard develops feelings for Evulz, which sows envy and distrust.
- Agent Bob finds out that his girlfriend (who he's madly in love with) is one of Evulz' bodyguards.
- Evulz falls in love with one of his bodyguards, and decides that he doesn't want her in such a dangerous job anymore, but she enjoys the thrill and refuses to quit.
