- Downplayed: After Hiro saves an old woman from getting hit by a bus, her family gives a cool-looking T-shirt to him as a reward.
- Justified:
- The clothes are personally given to him for saving the world.
- It's the Yellow Jersey of the Tour de France.
- The clothes are indestructible armor.
- Hiro is naked and the locals gave them clothes both to reward him and conveniently provide them modesty in a way he wouldn't refuse.
- Inverted: Hiro's clothes are instead literally taken away.
- Subverted: Hiro gets what seems to be a bundle of clothes, but when he unwraps the bundle, it's revealed to be the Infinity +1 Sword.
- Double Subverted: ...which is on a T-shirt.
- Parodied: Hiro gets an absurd and strange, if not stripperific outfit.
- Zig-Zagged: After Hiro saves the world from destruction, he is granted a set of clothes that, at random intervale, changes into a different set of clothes. Or a sword. Or a bed of needles. Or something else completely random.
- Averted: Hiro gets an Infinity +1 Sword for saving the world.

- The work is a PR stunt by a clothing brand.
- The creators don't want a Bragging Rights Reward. They figure clothes are the best option.
- The creators of Jeu de simulation du Tour de France know that the players will expect to be rewarded with The Jersey(s)
