Nightmare Fuel / True Crime: New York City

• The infamous asylum mission, where you are locked up by the Magdalenas and you have to escape from a bunch of insane inmates in what seems to be an asylum ripped straight out of Gotham City!
• As a Darker and Edgier sequel, this game included dismemberment to limbs and the head, and it all looks very detailed for a PS2-era game.
  • The screams that the characters let out when you dismember them are also as equally as terrifying.
• In Club Tadow, after the Yakuza came and stirred up the place, Marcus comes in to find the spot absolutely devastated with bullet holes and dead bodies. However, he sees someone sitting down on a couch and, thinking that he was merely shell-shocked, he shakes the person's body to see if he were okay. The person's head fucking falls off in gruesome detail, scaring even Marcus Reed himself.
• The "Ghost Town", an area outside of the game's boundaries, left in from the beta as an unfinished island besides Manhattan that the player would be able to explore. It's completely devoid of any buildings, but traffic and civillians spawn normally in what is essentially one huge gray void with roads that lead to dead ends, giving the impression that the player is in limbo.
• When Marcus chases after Leland in the underground tunnels, he gets captured and comes face to face with Uncle Benny's corpse and Leland reveals that he killed him years ago.
