Put it like this: the easiest and tamest ending involves the city getting nuked. This probably isn't going to be a very happy game.
  • The fourth ending (going by the lights on the panel), which is known as the Satanic ending. An unsettling Nightmare Face (pictured here) comes and takes over the screen. Especially scary in the 3D version, where the face is accompanied by blood covering the room and demonic voices all over.
  • The "Illuminati" ending, in which an Illuminati symbol suddenly takes over the screen. Special mention goes to suddenly changing to fullscreen for a second before closing entirely. In the 3D version, said symbol is now unsettlingly 3D, with eyes that blink and stare at the player, who is trapped in another dimension some sort, big objects spin around the symbol, and creepy music plays in the background.
  • The "Black Hole" ending is pretty tame in the original. Then you play the 3D version, and it destroys almost everything in your room, leaving you in the cold depths of space.
  • The "Future" ending in which you travel forwards through time to a ruined city where the moon has been shattered into pieces. The music that accompanies is incredibly eerie, as is the sounds that accompany this ending in the 3D version are presumed to be fragments of the moon impacting the surface of the Earth.
  • The "Sand Worm" ending is another one that goes from tame to creepy between versions. In the 3D version, the office itself gets swallowed by a giant sand worm, and the player is left trapped inside the dark, damp, and humongous stomach of the worm.
  • In the 3D version, in a majority of the endings, the room will shake or otherwise change to reflect the ending you achieved. That's not Empathic Environment, you're actually right under the city you're constantly destroying.
  • The "Toxic" ending has the player unleash toxic gas on the city, and the horrible coughs, vomits, and cries of the dying, suffering people, including those of children, can be heard.
  • The "Essence Of Machines" ending, or more simply, the "Bloody Baby" ending. After hitting the red button with a hammer, a Bloody Baby/Fetus thing with an eerily inexpressive face pops out and engages the player in a Boss Battle. The player must bash the vessels around the fetus before striking the fetus itself. By the end, the whole panel is covered in blood and broken flesh.
  • The 3D version adds the "Is She Here?" ending. Imagine the satanic ending, only it's not just on the view-screen. The room shakes, the power suddenly goes out, and all that is left is the heavy breathing of a woman. Turn around and said woman turns out to be a cloaked monstrosity. Her eyes light up, and then... she disappears entirely, leaving the player all alone.
  • As of January 20th 2017, the game has full VR support through the Vive, adding a The Fourth Wall Will Not Protect You element to the scares.
