"You've got nothing on me!
(Beat) Dang It..."
A list of memes that have generated either from or around The Loud House. Please remember, if you add a meme to the page, please include an explanation as to why it's a meme. Zero Context Examples are not allowed on TV Tropes. Neither are leaks, accidental or not. noteEpisodes that aired early in other countries, however, are an exception, as are promos that the show's staff have intended the audience to see.
- Have a Heart, Do Your Part. note An exploitable image where Lincoln is seen holding up a poster with a slogan encouraging readers to be more sympathetic. Originally a picture of a baby polar bear is above the slogan, it is replaced by another image of something that one may consider worth protecting. The screenshot is taken from the 11th episode of the first season, "The Green House."
- Lucy secretly likes Princess Pony or even My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic note The poster on the wall near Lucy's bed partially falls off to reveal a Princess Pony poster, revealing she secretly likes Princess Pony. The meme replaces the poster with something else. Taken from "Sleuth or Consequences." The original picture is this page's image.
- Dropped by the Loud Family (except Lucy) note This is a meme because People replace Lucy with someone else from the episode "Left in the Dark" on YouTube.
- This'll be an episode, just wait... note A picture made by a fan on Tumblr dealing with Luan coming into a frightened Lincoln's room as the clock marks midnight, April Fools' Day. Because the pictures wind up being rather similar to the episode "April Fools Rules," it's common to joke about equally serious pictures being regarded as the base for a future episode.
- The Harem House note The premise about a boy living with 10 girls sounds incredibly similar to the romantic anime genre of harem, and this has not gone unnoticed by fans, who make some or even all the sisters romantically interested (or beyond) towards Lincoln. The fact the line "One boy, ten girls, wouldn't trade it for the world" is in the opening doesn't help.
- The LGBT House note Any fanart that depicts the Loud sisters (and Lincoln) as being bisexual, homosexual, lesbian, and so on, even if they have established orientations (Lori being straight, since she's dating Bobby). It's typically focused on either lesbian house, due to the absurd amount of female characters, or gay house, which is less prevalent but still there. Incidentally, Luna eventually turned out to be an LGBT character in canon (specifically a lesbian).
- The Yandere House note In the same manner as the previous meme, this makes the sisters, alongside being romantically interested in Lincoln, have a hidden, crazy side to their affections.
- Luandere note Luan, in particular, has become the most yandere-ized sister after a webcomic made by British fanartist Jump-Jump titled I Love My Brother which deals with Luan murdering Ronnie Anne in order to get Lincoln all for herself.
- Yandere "X" note The same as the last ones, only instead of dealing with the sisters being yanderes, it deals with background or side characters, like Cristina, Ronnie Anne, Clyde, etc, being turned into yanderes.
- St. Lincoln note A common trope in fan works when Lincoln is portrayed as a saint compared to his sisters, who may get demonized to get the point across.
- Guardian Angel/Extra Mother Leni/Luna note One or both of the aforementioned characters being portrayed as Lincoln's caretaker and always taking his side on a conflict with the other sisters.
- Nice Sisters Vs. Mean Sisters note Similar to the one above, a Heroes Vs Villains trope in fan works where the aforementioned "nice" sisters (Leni, Luna, Lucy, Lana and Lily) are portrayed as Designated Heroines and the "mean" sisters (Lori, Luan, Lynn, Lola and Lisa) are portrayed as Designated Villainesses, mostly tend to be inaccurate to the characters' portrayal in canon.
- Leni and Luna kissing Lincoln on the cheek. Sometimes including Lori hugging him from behind. note While mostly heartwarming in nature, these pictures gained a level of creepiness due to being requested by the same user(s) to many different artists. Might also have a connection with the two memes above.
- The Lewd House note Another derivative of the title, spawned by the immense amount of Rule 34 works and fan art that popped up soon after the show first aired.
- Loudcest note A portmanteau of "Loud" and "incest", which is used to denote any fanart involving any of the Loud children in a relationship with each other, most commonly Lincoln getting shipped with any of his sisters. It happens a lot. Other variations also have Lincoln with his mother, any of his sisters with their father, or even vice versa.
- The Pregnant House note As a consequence of the show dealing with a surprisingly large family, combined with the incestuous Loudcest mentioned above, one of the more popular types of lewd house involves the sisters becoming pregnant, either by background characters (Or Bobby in the case of Lori), or more commonly by Lincoln, as a consequence of their relationship.
- Lincoln's the father! note Going from the above, whenever any fanart depicts or implies someone's pregnant and doesn't outright say who the father is, 9 times out of 10, Lincoln will usually be the first suspect of being the father. And seeing his status as a casanova in the fandom, this has some logic behind it.
- Lincoln log/Everybody Wants the Lincoln log!/The Log note The name given to Lincoln's... well, reproductive member. Seeing as quite an alarming number of characters in the show are female, many people have come with the joke that basically everybody wants the "Lincoln log".
- Lincoln the Casanova note Lincoln has a "reputation" as quite the casanova in the fandom, which surprisingly isn't too far off from show canon, considering as of "White Hare" he's had four girls his age he's developed crushes on. It doesn't matter if the person is too young (like Lisa or Lily), way too old (Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. DiMartino), already has a relationship (Lori), related to him (any of his family members), or even the same gender (Bobby or Clyde); they'll either find Lincoln attractive or hot, no questions asked.
- "The Loud House was a mistake" note Possible reaction the fandom might think if the creators of the show see some of the less-pleasant Fan Works based around it.
- Crossdresser Lincoln note During "A Novel Idea," Lincoln tries to crossdress as a girl to go on his father's office for Bring Your Daughter to Work Day. Naturally, fans ran with the idea and have constantly depicted Lincoln in his crossdresser form.
- Crossdresser Clyde note Clyde also crossdressed in "Changing the Baby", as he put on lady's clothes to hide while following Lincoln and Lily and showed no discomfort in doing so. Naturally, Clyde is sometimes portrayed as a crossdress, either alone or alongside Lincoln.
- Transgender Lynn note Several factors given by the show (Lynn's name being gender neutral and remaining the same with her male counterpart, her tomboyish attitude and voice, the fact she gave Lincoln a jockstrap as a hand me down, etc.) has convinced some fans that Lynn might be Male-to-Female transgender.
- Dog Lynn note When Lynn acts like a dog (sometime treated as one) in Fan Works, possibly based on a scene from "Picture Perfect" where Lincoln has her play fetch with her football. Said character may also have dog ears and a tail included.
- There is a joke among the fandom of making stories that end with Lincoln apologizing for no reason, even if he had no earlier involvement in the story.
- 4chan has picked up on an image of Luna hiding behind a lamp in "Driving Miss Hazy", going as far as to give it Moe Anthropomorphism. note This originally began to parody what was at the time seen as a colossal lack of characterization for Luna beyond just liking music. The meme, and referring to Luna as "Lamp Loud", died out for the most part following "House Music", but it resurfaced in the middle of Season 2, as Luna yet again fell Out of Focus.
- "I'm noticing a lack of balls in this room" note Lynn's quote that have an unintentionally(?) dirty-sounding Double Entendre from the episode "Space Invader".
- Trope QT note Fanart of female background characters tends to follow the formula of something related to the character in question, and the term QT added at the end. Originally arose as a way of quickly identifying Lincoln's other female classmates not named Jordan (Shy, Sweater, Brown and Cookie QT), then exploded into almost every single female background character following Thicc QT's appearance in "Raw Deal".
- Having the cast of the show reenact scenes from SpongeBob SquarePants is relatively popular on DeviantArt. Find some examples here, here or here. Leni often plays the role of Patrick in these reenactments, probably because she, like him, isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.
- Lincoln Torture Porn note Any time Lincoln ends up being the Designated Monkey at the hands of his sisters for an episode, regardless of whether he deserved it at the time, the fandom is quick to label it as "Torture Porn" for him (derived from MoBrosStudios' old "Top 20 Worst SpongeBob SquarePants Episodes" video where he called Squidward-focused episodes of a similar nature "Squidward Torture Porn" and extended to any such episode of any show). Unsurprisingly, episodes that gain this label tend to be controversial at best.
- Whori note An "Affectionate Nickname" given by Lori's detractors after her infatuation with Hugh in "Study Muffin", and subsequently getting angry at the implication Bobby was seeing other girls. These two things have made many fans see her and even portray her as an unfaithful, hypocritical whore who will gladly jump into the arms of any other man, but won't let Bobby even accidentally think about doing the same, sometimes extending into outright cuckoldry.
- Evil/Abusive Leni note In canon, Leni is easily the sweetest of the Loud sisters, if a little bit dense, and probably wouldn't even hurt a fly. In fanon, however, Leni has a repressed dark side that, at best, is a massive jerkass, and at worst, is outright psychotic. This personality has also been included on "Proto-Leni", Leni's second prototype design, by the fandom. Perhaps best exemplified by the fic "Velvet Fist", which deals with precisely this.
- Evil "X" note Like Yandere "X" above, it deals with giving background or secondary characters a dark side. One of the most popular choices is, bizarrely enough, Cristina.
- Sisterswap note The idea of taking any two established sisters, whether in the pairs established in the show or any other combination, and swapping their respective characteristics, like Leni becoming a genius while Lisa turns into a ditz, or Luan becoming dark and gothic while Lucy becomes a comedian.
- Ronnie Americ-Anne note A bizarre variation of Ronnie Anne, depicted as turning her into a pseudo-bimbo woman dressed in skimpy American flag-themed underwear and eyeshadow, with long blonde hair and a lighter skin color.
- Sad Loud House art is a thing.
- The Louds react to something.note This one is very popular on DeviantArt. People like to take a screenshot of some or all members of the cast of The Loud House, generally one where they have an extreme reaction, and then associate it with a screenshot of another movie/cartoon/videogame/anime to make it look like the Louds are reacting to what they see. Here is one example among many.
- Something reacts to the Louds.note Same as above, only this time it's the character(s) from the movie/cartoon/videogame/anime that reacts to something the Louds are doing. Here is one example among many.
- Mega Maggie. Also called Titty Monster Maggie in more NSFW locales. note Maggie, the girl whose thirteenth birthday party forms the climax of "Funny Business", is notable among fans for both being a new goth girl and for being depicted with breasts visible through multiple layers despite her young age. This quickly lead to fanart blowing them up to massive size, usually D or E cups, and a wider consensus that Maggie is going to be utterly stacked when she fully matures. The name comes from the much older Mega-Milk/Titty Monster meme, of which Maggie versions of its iconic images have duly been created.
- Heartbroken Luna. note After the revelation that Luna's crush is a girl, fans immediately begun making works where Luna winds up being heartbroken, either because Sam is straight, bisexual but not into her, or with another person, or just because Sam doesn't end up with her in any way shape or form.
- Body Conscious Luna/Luan/Lynn. note Luna, Luan, and Lynn are flat-chested, despite being teenagers and their older sisters having breasts. Fans have made this mostly glossed over fact be extremely conscious for them, with the girls being either jealous or furious when they see girls, like Maggie, who is younger than them, with breasts.
- Punching Bag Lynn. note Lynn is, one way or another, one of the most disliked characters in the fandom for her personality, attitude, and sore tendencies, so It's rather common to see fans have her be in pain, one way or another.
- Lovechildren. note Essentially, the resulting child from the union of two characters, most commonly from Loudcest, but lovechildren between Lincoln and other female characters are also known to exist. The popularity of these characters led them getting their own fanon alternative universe, even a Booru website, separate from the main series.
- As seen here◊, from right to left, Loan note Lincoln and Lori's lovechild, who looks more or less the same as Lori. Her popularity rose from her backstory involving Parental Neglect and sexual abuse which caused the poor girl to become... rather messed up in the head., Liena note Lincoln and Leni's lovechild, who loves cooking and is just as sweet as her mother. , Lyra note The lovedaughter of Lincoln and Luna, who's a Christian violinist and, personality-wise, is like a combo between Lori and Luna (both canon and "pure", as listed below)., Liby note Lincoln and Luan's lovechild, who shares her mother's interests in comedy but lacks the confidence and stability to preform. Her popularity comes from the simple fact that the pairing that brought her to life is also the same one that's the subject of one of the most infamous comics in the fandom., Lacy note Lynn and Lincoln's lovechild, who's usually depicted with Lynn's interests (to non-competitive level) but Lincoln's personality. She rivals Lupa's popularity. She was also the very first lovechild, appearing only a month or two after the show premiered., Lupa note The lovechild of Lucy and Lincoln, who like to complain about everything. Her popularity, specially in comparison to other lovechildren, mostly comes from her hilariously blunt and straight attempts to seduce her father., Lemy note The loveson of Lincoln and Luna, who's a metalhead who idolize his mother but consider his older sister as a bigger mother figure., Leia note Lincoln and Lola's lovechild, an extreme daddy's girl who will do anything to have things go her way, which often puts her at odds with her sisters, especially Lupa., Lizy note Lincoln and Lana's lovechild, a reptile fanatic who is very curious of her surrounding, making her siblings cautious of what they say and do around her. and Lulu note Lincoln and Lisa's lovechild, a science experiment by Lisa to create a perfect daughter which leaves her with a few quirks such as a predator-esque mouth among others. are the most accepted lovechildren and these 10 receive the most focus. More info can be found here.
- Among those above include another group of Loud lovechildren who are considered secondary as they are not as accepted to the same level for reasons. Some popular examples such as Lyle note Lincoln and Leni's loveson and Liena's younger brother, who's unfortunate to have a feminine appearance., Lani note Lincoln and Lily's lovechild, who has demonic traits and powers for some reasons, Lari note Lincoln and Lori's other lovechild and Loan's older sister, who's unlike her other siblings, is distant from her family as she live on her own. , Rinn note Lincoln and Rita's daughter, who has quite a knowledge in medicine. and Bed note Leni's adoptive daughter and Liena and Lyle's adoptive sibling, who's is rather shy around her surrounding. to name a few.
- That, of course, isn't counting the Lovechildren he has with girls outside the family including, but not limited to: Hugh Jr. note Lisa and Hugh's lovechild, and notably one of the few to not involve Lincoln, and actually having some depiction in canon., Lina note The love child between Lincoln and Sam, who has a sort of pop punk/skate punk aesthetic, Gloom note The love child between Lincoln and Maggie who's become known for having the biggest chest out of all the lovechildren, Laika note Lincoln and Becky's lovechild, who was kidnapped by the KGB and conditioned into a Russian supersoldier, Bobby 'BJ' Loud note Lincoln and Ronnie Anne's lovechild and others that can't be bothered to be listed here due to the sheer amount.
- "We're not such a bad influence on Lily after all!" note The ending of "Potty Mouth", said by Luan right before Lily says an actual curse word.
- Pure/Classical Luna. note A version of Luna made as a result of never going to the Mick Swagger concert.
- Pure "X". note A version of a character who has a "cleaner" personality opposite to their canon one. Sam (also known as Nerdy Sam) is a popular example.
- "Isn't this fun, everyone?" (laughs) note The part of the GoNoodle Loud House dance where Lola dabs seems to be brought up often as an example of Nickelodeon being hip. The quote itself is a line of Lola's from "A Tattler's Tale" when she's forced her siblings to do menial work for her.
- "Cheer up, baby, don't you cry! No more tears, it's cheer up time!" note Fenton the Feel-Better Fox's song from "The Crying Dame," notorious for being absolutely annoying in and out of universe.
- "Good Luck Watching This Episode on TV" note An edited image of the title card of "Head Poet's Anxiety" that was made to mock the fact that Nick constantly delays episodes of the show.
- “Dang it!” note A running gag said by every character.
- "My God, they finally gave Lynn Character Development!" note After the episode "Middle Men" was released, this was everyone's reaction after learning why Lynn is so aggressive. The same reaction happened after the airing of "Diss the Cook", in which Lynn ends up in a Brother–Sister Team with Lincoln and doesn't act like a bully to him (and, most importantly, never calls him Stinkin', the name that usually accompanied her bullying antics in past episodes).
- Lana/Leni's opinion on something.note Based on the scene from "Cover Girls" in which Lana disguises herself as Leni and imitates her tendency to take some things too literally. Fans (mostly on DeviantArt) use a screenshot to have her react on various topics. Here is one example.
- People shipping Maggie with Luan on DeviantArt, like this for example◊. note Shipping Luan and Maggie, the emo girl from "Funny Business", is still popular nowadays, even though Maggie hasn't appeared again after her debut episode in 2016, and Luan's canon love interest is Benny.
- Lori does drugs. note From the promo for the episode "Driving Ambition", there's a scene where Lori is in the middle of a breakdown with a wild smile on while chanting "Don't overthink it!" and white stuff on her face. Cue jokes that Lori basically downed a bunch of cocaine and is now high.
- Leni screaming.note Fan edits of Leni reacting to Frank the spider from "Along Came a Sister", so as to make it appear as if Leni is reacting to something else.
- Girly Lynn/Lana. note As both Lynn and Lana are tomboys, it's only natural for fans to then throw them into situations where they would be the exact opposite, willingly (rarely) or not. Oftentimes, episodes like "Toads And Tiaras" are mentioned or referenced one way or another.
- the goth e-boy we didn't even know we needed note Nickelodeon's Twitter account posted a picture of Lincoln's goth outfit from "A Grave Mistake", calling him "the goth e-boy we didn't even know we needed". E-boys (short for "electronic boys") are part of a social media subculture whose members tend to dress up in emo/gothic or anime-inspired fashions. The tweet immediately drew backlash since e-boys and e-girls often produce content that is sexual in nature, prompting Nickelodeon to delete the tweet after only a few hours since its posting.
- Lisa's weird poop studies. note It has been mentioned several times in various episodes in the show, most notably in "Undie Pressure" and "Lock 'N Loud" that Lisa studies her siblings' fecal samples. Of course, this has led to the fandom making rather... dirty jokes about her. Especially made prominent with the episode "Room And Hoard" where Lisa reveals that she hoards fecal slides.
- Whitey-Anne note The nickname for a Ronnie Anne look-a-like from "Spell It Out" with a ponytail and a lighter skin tone.
- "Don't forget to floss!" "Okay!" Explanation A flashback from A Really Haunted Loud House in which Rita tells the kids to floss their teeth, only for them to instead do the floss dance and thus end up with cavities. This clip became a meme on X (formerly Twitter) around the time the special premiered.
- Yo X Explanation(Warning: GORE!)this is a picture from a non-existant game over screen from an unknown bootleg, in which Lincoln rips his face off revealing his skull
