The meme. [[labelnote:Explanation]]The explanation behind the meme, if necessary.[[/labelnote]]ExplanationLike this.
Further mutations and successor memes, if any.
732 clicks per second. ExplanationDuring Technoblade's PVP days, he wound up amassing a few accusations of him using an autoclicker. In response, he recorded a video where he clicked his mouse 32 times, only to reveal the website claimed him to have clicked 732 times per second.
Elbow Reveal. ExplanationOne of Techno's early videos had him mention that he wanted to be different from most YouTubers by setting absurdly high milestones. For 1 million subscribers, for example, he would do an elbow reveal. For the other elbow, he required 10 million subscribers. His dad ended up doing the right elbow reveal after he died.
What does Technoblade look like? ExplanationTechno has revealed his face on occasion in older videos like his "Hardcore Steering Wheel" stream and "Cooking With Technoblade". However, due to the camera angle, his age gap between videos, some of the videos being deleted or unlisted, and Techno not having a proper face reveal (until his passing), it's quite common for his audience to fail to remember just how his face looks.
Spaceship. ExplanationThe Hypixel Minecraft server has a game called Guess That Build. Techno tended to put "Spaceship" as his first guess regardless of what was being built. This wound up working at least once, causing the chat to also occasionally spam "Spaceship" for guessing games.
"This is the second-worst thing to happen to those orphans." ExplanationAfter Skeppy surpassed Techno in subscribers, the latter challenged him to a series of minigames on Hypixel beginning with Grinch Simulator, a game where you stole gifts from orphans. Techno proceeded to state the above and change his Twitter's tagline to such following the video.
Adopt A Small Orphan. ExplanationPrior to competing in Minecraft Ultimate, Techno tweeted that he would adopt an orphan if he won. This led to the memes where he would adopt TommyInnit.
"Quackity, they weren't always orphans." ExplanationThe explanation of the tagline. When prompted on the Dream SMP, Techno awkwardly pointed out that the joke implied the worst thing to have happened to the orphans was losing their parents.
Orphan Obliterator. ExplanationTechnoblade's persona on the Dream SMP wielded a sword named the 'Orphan Obliterator', as a nod to the original meme and because he was often killing small children in Minecraft.
Blood for the Blood God! ExplanationOne of Techno's catchphrases, likely from Warhammer. Both Techno and his chat would spam this whenever he was fighting in reference to his great skill in combat.
If you wish to defeat me, train for another [X] hundred years. ExplanationA catchphrase that stemmed from the video "Skeppy vs Technoblade". Technoblade would continue adding 100 years each time he defeated Skeppy in a minigame.
You missed [X]. ExplanationWhen Techno started off survival on SMPEarth, some fans helpfully pointed out when he missed items of note, such as diamonds. Unfortunately, due to stream delay or shaders, some of these comments wound up either being missed themselves or audience error. This led to Techno dismissing most of them as fake or untrustworthy, and the chat responding by telling him he missed things ranging from improbable (such as Netherite in the ground) to the impossible (such as Air).
— Sun Tzu, The Art of War ExplanationTechnoblade used Sun Tzu's quotes in his Potato War videos, leading to people making up Sun Tzu quotes in the comments section.
Content-starved audience. ExplanationTechno's sporadic upload schedule led to fans having trouble finding content, with the end result being that they tended to consume any content that was even tangentially related to Techno. This included mentions of him in other streamers' chats, clips, art and creations from the community, and more.
When will Technoblade next upload/stream? ExplanationTechno's fanbase got very used to the unscheduled uploads and stream schedules, so this was often heard from new members of the community. The question was listed among the Technoblade subreddit's sidebar as a frequently asked question.
We have bad news for you. ExplanationIn line with his dark humor, the subreddit's answer to the above question changed to such following his passing.
Mic Muted. ExplanationThe chat would, without fail, spam this during Techno's streams. Techno played into this meme by asking the chat to do a certain thing if his mic was muted, which the chat always did, which revealed his mic was not actually muted.
L, can't even [achieve impossible task]. ExplanationDue to how good Techno was at Minecraft, a meme arose where the audience claimed anything less than being beyond perfect was a failure. Ironically, this tended to kill off haters because their voices became nearly indistinguishable from people simply ribbing Techno in good humor.
First Try, Baby! ExplanationA meme where no matter how many tries it took Techno to do anything difficult, he would always say this afterwards, claiming the audience hallucinated the failed attempts. His chat usually joins in following these events.
Technolate! ExplanationRegardless of how early or late Techno's streams were, the chat often spammed this, to the point that it became a Running Gag of sorts.
Technoplane! ExplanationTechnoblade in the Minecraft Ultimate flew on an Elytra, carried his team while flying, and called the formation "Technoplane" as a callback to the above.
When Pigs Fly. ExplanationPeople have been comparing the Technoplane formation to the phrase "when pigs fly".
E. ExplanationDuring many of Techno's livestreams the chat wound up spamming just the letter E. Various different explanations include a reference to the Markiplier E meme, letters F and L being combined during Minecraft Championships to form E, and Techno mentioning once that he hadn't eaten which prompted the chat to spam "Eat" and shorten it to "E".
"¿¡Ay caramba, dónde está la biblioteca?!" ExplanationTranslates to "Oh my gosh, where is the library?!" During a Bed Wars game, Techno ambushed and killed Tommy while shouting this at the top of his lungs. He then proceeded to do the exact same thing a year or two later, with Tommy shouting, "Not again!"
"I was actually using an advanced technique there called LYING." ExplanationSaid in the Potato War 3 video. This quote has been repurposed by fans for memes where the subject was lying.
Technoblade counts as two people. ExplanationWhen Techno had to sub in for Calvin and xNestorio's team, the event organizer said that to keep it fair for everyone else, he has to replace both of the missing people, and become a team of three in a four-person team game. They then proceeded to win the game anyway.
"Unpopular opinion but I don't actually think Nestor, Cal, and Techno are gonna win tomorrow. I've challenged them with an immediate disadvantage of being a team of 3 in a team of 4 event on 1.12... that's gonna be really hard no matter how good they might be." ExplanationA quote from the Minecraft Ultimate event organizer that turned into a copypasta after Techno's team had already won.
Anarchy! ExplanationTechno's persona on the Dream SMP was a Bomb Throwing Anarchist who saw government as the source of all things wrong in the world.
Sellout Timer! ExplanationTechno discovered from Dream that by telling people to donate or subscribe, it vastly increased the turnout of his videos. This led to the logical conclusion that if he scheduled periodic timers for "selling out", he would make large sums of money.
Techno-Millionaire. ExplanationBecause of how much money Techno would make from selling out, the viewers and especially channel members were dubbed the Techno-Millionaires in a continuation of the Techno-[X] meme above.
One of Us! ExplanationWhen channel members joined, Technoblade would sometimes repeat this iconic memetic chant from Freaks, though most probably remember it from The Simpsons as the quote itself entered the public domain. The chat always joins in, and use it as a welcoming cry for everyone who wants to join the community.
Carl. ExplanationA big donator named Fossilnet began donating around the time SMPEarth was being streamed, requesting a villager be named Carl. Techno vetoed the idea as it didn't fit with the rest of his villager naming theme. Undeterred, Fossilnet wound up donating in excess of 500 dollars during the Dream SMP, culminating in Techno's prized horse being named Carl.
Bell. ExplanationA continuation of the above. Techno would strike a bell in Minecraft while viewers joined his channel membership or donated following the sellout timer going off.
"I want a bell." ExplanationWhen Techno became trapped in jail on the Dream SMP, he wound up accidentally summoning the server god. While Dream was still stunned by their good fortune, as they could ask to be taken out of the prison, Techno simply demanded a bell, to the former's horror. Techno then proceeded to sell out while still incarcerated, to his audience's delight.
Jonathan Swift. ExplanationTechno once read A Modest Proposal by the aforementioned author, having spoken about it in one of his Sky Wars videos. He joined the Dream SMP years later and was working on his trading hall. After leaving two Zombie Villagers in the process of being cured (one was a baby) and returning to find only the adult survived, Techno asked in shock if the adult had eaten the baby. He then proceeded to name the adult after the author of A Modest Proposal.
"PHIL, LOOK OUT!" ExplanationA quote Techno screamed whenever a baby zombie was near Philza. This was due to Phil's famous Minecraft Hardcore death being caused by a baby zombie.
Before the Pig Pig Military escalation Explanation A screenshot◊ of the first three sections on the Pig War of 1859's Wikipedia page quickly went memetic due to jokes about how Techno caused tensions to rise among different factions on various Minecraft servers, including his faction on SMPEarth, his persona on the Dream SMP, and Hypixel Skyblock. However, the titles of the sections themselves have since been updated, rendering the screenshot outdated.
"The pig incident". ExplanationA screenshot of a section from an updated version of the aforementioned Wikipedia page, and a lesser seen variant of the above.
