Prince of Thieves was the 18th and last book in the Super Endless Quest book series, by then known as Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Adventure Gamebooks.
Jadd Hachen is a legendary thief, who has to recover a trio of magical gems he's just liberated from a corrupt nobleman after they're liberated from him by some of his less scrupulous thieving brethren.
Prince of Thieves provides examples of:
- Dual Wielding: Jadd's weapon of choice is a pair of short clubs wielded in each hand.
- Eyepatch of Power: Jadd has one after losing his eye from a round in an enemy's torture chamber.
- Just Like Robin Hood: The player's character is a thief, but he only steals from the evil to benefit the weak and helpless underclass (like in Escape From Castle Quarras, probably to prevent a YA book with a thieving protagonist from being protested).
- No Honor Among Thieves: The inciting incident is the magic gems being stolen by other more typical thieves.
- Plot Coupons: The three magic gems.
