Heartwarming / Uncle Grandpa

• In a weird way, the premise of the show is very heartwarming: a reality warper who flies around making life a little more fun for everyone (it's very sweet when you really think about it).
  • Not to mention the fact that he lives up to his name: he acts like both a cool uncle and a kindly old grandpa to everyone he meets.
• The very first episode features Uncle Grandpa helping an overweight kid become more comfortable with his appearance by first making him a shirt that actually fits him and then by giving him the confidence to defeat giant extradimensional wolves with his girth.
• Uncle Grandpa really does love his friends. He's devastated when Giant Realistic Flying Tiger is nowhere to be seen, and he hugs her and tells her he loves her when she's found.
• Mr. Gus knows the only way for his friends to defeat the funny face is for the others to think their friendship is broken, thereby becoming so sad that the funny face has no affect on them.
• Through the power of teamwork, Uncle Grandpa gets over his fear of the dark by helping a little girl overcome hers.
• The fact that Pizza Steve went to such great lengths to prevent Uncle Grandpa from losing all respect for him in "Future Pizza".
• Miracle creating a barrier to keep hungry people away from eating Tiger.
• Uncle Grandpa giving the Triclops a kiss in "Haunted RV".
• As it turns out, the entire subplot about Xarna, She-Warrior of the Apocalypse, is actually a game of make-believe between Uncle Grandpa and a young girl pretending to be Xarna. And The Reveal is absolutely adorable.
