General

  • While Eiden is all for having sex with his clansmen, he makes it a point that it isn't the only reason he likes them, because he also wants to get to know them as people.
    • In some of his first sex scenes with the clansmen, Eiden is noted to be very gentle towards those who don't have a lot of experience.

Main Story

  • Yakumo has been afraid of hurting others due to him being unable to control his powers. Eiden, however, isn't scared of Yakumo and only shows him kindness. This earns Yakumo's trust and love for Eiden.
    • This leads to Yakumo being quite protective of Eiden and can quickly move towards violence on anyone who hurts him.
  • Edmond isn't particularly kind at first, brushing off Eiden as a "hack" and refusing to be aided by the clansmen. Eiden, however, continues to follow Edmond, as he's concerned that his gemstone would cause him harm, due to him refusing to regulate it properly.
  • After meeting Quincy, he and Eiden don't appear to get along, but Quincy slowly warms up to Eiden as the other talks with him and tries to name Topper.
  • Eiden meeting Garu and Karu. While a bit off put by the latter, he treats them both the same, and makes sure to ask for Karu's opinion on something that also includes Garu.
  • Blade who is more than happy to meet "Huey" again, as he nurses Eiden back to health and looks after him. While Eiden knows he has to eventually tell Blade he can't stay with him in the Dead Zone, he can't even muster up the courage to tell the E-Droid because of his puppy eyes.
    • Then when the clansmen come to retrieve him, Eiden offers to let Blade stay at the mansion. Blade immediately accepts, happy to be wherever his darling goes.
  • Yakumo had apparently went on a berserk rampage due to Eiden going missing. He does apologize for causing trouble, but it's clear how much Eiden means to him.
  • Despite the way Dante rules, he's trying to protect his subjects by toughening them up through hard training instead of ruthless punishments.
    • Eiden gets in a heated argument towards Dante when it comes to the orphans of his kingdom. Feeling like the king doesn't truly look after the defenseless children makes Eiden yell at Dante and nearly punch him.
  • Even though Blade can easily heal his injuries and does not hurt like a normal person due to being an e-droid, Eiden still makes Blade promise not to get hurt. This promise is what makes Blade realize the fake Eiden is baiting him to danger and retaliate.
  • As they prepare for battle, Dante gifts Eiden a prayer bead bracelet that he claims can protect Eiden from harm. Despite their arguments in the earlier chapter, Dante does care for Eiden and doesn't want to see him get hurt.
    • Chapter 10 Part 2 reveals that the bracelet is an ancestral heirloom passed down. It gets destroyed in the ensuing conflict, but entrusting a precious artifact to someone he just met shows the extent of his concern for him.

     Events

White Day

  • Eiden recalls White Day to the clansmen, who are initially confused by the practice, but whole heartedly decide to celebrate it as a means of cheering Eiden up.
  • Even though the taste of the chocolates nearly have Eiden choke to death, he still eats the White Day chocolates Edmond and Yakumo had prepared for him.

Zest for Life

  • While Kuya (being Kuya) seems to have followed the group just so he could have fun with the hunters they caught, he actually does help them retrieve more Zest by luring more animals to come out. The animals who worship him follow him around, leading Eiden and Olivine to be the winners of the event, thanks to Kuya's help.

Youkai Banquet

  • Karu's illusion is him seeing his grandfather wander towards the river. Panicked, Karu runs after him and tells him not to get close to the water.
    • During one of the battle events, after Garu and Karu manage to shake off the illusion, he will yell out to the youkai's to not hurt Eiden. If he happens to be the last one standing, he will sigh in relief that Eiden is alright before finishing himself off to end the fight.
  • The Youkai community point how that Kuya has been visiting them less and less, spending more of his time with Eiden. While Kuya's way of spending time with the human isn't exactly cordial, it's clear he's become interested in Eiden and does prove he is fond of him.

Klein Star

  • It's Eiden's birthday, and he spends a few nights making candied sweets for the clansmen. While each have varying reactions towards his gift, they are nonetheless touched and pleased at this gesture.
    • Aster later on rounds them all up and make plans on celebrating Eiden's birthday after putting two and two together. Each of the clansmen do something personal and thoughtful in their own way to show Eiden their appreciation.
  • During the Illusion-01 battle, a child Eiden gets harrassed by the toy monsters. However, once all the monsters are defeated, Eiden realizes his fear of being left alone and comes to quietly accept it. The next round shows adult Eiden seemingly talking to the players as he thanks them for helping him.
Eiden: ...Whoever you are... thank you for saving my dreamland. I never thought all those childhood memories would come flooding back. But I'm not lonely anymore. I'm surrounded with companions I can depend on... with those who're important to me. I'm not scared of sadness anymore. Even if I can't make it back to my world, I'm happy here. Thank you.

Idol Fest

  • While it snowballs due to Aster seeing an idol event as another money scheme, Yakumo wanted a way to help out his village sell more of their produce.
    • As Blade, Yakumo and Olivine form a genuine idol group, they work hard to give their best performance and genuinely appreciate the support they receive from their fans.
  • Eiden elects himself the group's manager, and does all he can to look after the group. He even designs outfits for Blade, Yakumo and Olivine that perfectly reflect the clansmen's personalities.
    • Even more, Eiden with the help of a royal music writer, and writes the main song for their group, "Summer Dream". The lyrics are heartwarming in of itself, with both the idol group and Eiden showing their support and love for one another.
  • Yakumo is initially plagued with terrible stage fright and either has a nervous breakdown or runs away in a panic. But thanks to some advice, disguised as a jab from Kuya, Yakumo gains some confidence and is able to perform without as much anxiety. He even gets a young fan who tells him his singing reminded him of his grandfather. Quincy even comments that Yakumo's singing helped him sleep.
  • Olivine has spent a majority of the event looking after the Blade and Yakumo, looking out for them as their captain. He's always supportive and taking the time help the two work on making their performance great.
    • So when it's revealed that his family and the church aren't too happy with him taking up being an idol, he hides it as to not worry the others. Once they do find out, they tell Olivine he can rely on them as well.
  • While some of the clansmen refuse to admit it, they do support the others as idols and help them out in their own way.
  • As the clansmen take a trip to the beach, while some don't look as thrilled as the others, Eiden is assured that the wouldn't be here if they weren't enjoying themselves.
