Main Story

     Chapter 1
  • The very first scene of Nu:Carnival? Aster, Morvay and Eiden having a threesome. It's so jarring for an introduction scene it's laughable.
  • Aster and Morvay's first real introduction is the two arguing over Aster using the wrong spell, as the person they summoned clearly wasn't Huey.
  • Realizing he basically transmigrated and is being called a sorcerer, Eiden attempts to use magic by yelling out, a long spell name he made up. He immediately becomes disappointed that nothing really happened and that he can't actually use magic.

     Chapter 2
  • Aster and Morvay's Ridiculously Cute Critter forms are introduced in this chapter, but Morvay questions why they have to be in this form when the last time they did, the village children mistook them as exotic bugs and tried to catch them with nets.
    • Later when they appear to Eiden, he makes the same mistake. Aster's response is golden.
Aster: Master, it's I, your beloved Aster! This one (Morvay) is definitely a bug though.
  • In order to cover up Yakumo's serpent powers going on a rampage, Aster alters the village's memories to make it seem like the snakes were worms. Yakumo is... less than pleased at these turns of events.
    • Even more so when his grandparents see him off, they give him a send off present. As Yakumo opens it down the road, he nearly breaks down into sad tears when he sees they've gifted him a bowl of dirt. He laments to Eiden, asking if his grandparents didn't love him anymore.

     Chapter 3
  • When Aster sees everyone was eating dinner without him, he whines about how eating with them is his favourite activity. Morvay asks what about feeding his pets, to which Aster replies is his second favourite activity, and bullying Morvay is his fifth. Yakumo is about to ask what his third and fourth favourite activities are before Eiden stops him by saying Yakumo wouldn’t want to know.

     Chapter 4
  • Eiden mentions how Olivine has such a nice figure, with Edmond agreeing with him... before immediately backtracking and demanding what kind of sinful thoughts Eiden has been having about the priest.
  • The knights that lurk around the church aren't really doing it to keep the church safe. They're just around so they can get a chance to ogle at Olivine when he passes by.
    • In fact, when Eiden and Edmond declare they're going to take Olivine back to the manor with them, a wave of guards start to run after Olivine and beg him not to leave.

     Chapter 5
  • Quincy's animal friend doesn't have a name, as he finds it too troublesome to give him one. Edien later on suggests "Twilight Star-Show Max Lucifer Topper III", but Quincy turns it down and decides on Topper.

     Chapter 6
  • Eiden, Quincy, and Olivine are trapped in a thick fog but were rescued by Yakumo, Aster, and Morvay because they followed a wolf by using the scent of Eiden's underwear to track the group down.
  • Kuya can't see the optical illusion in the playing cards and is greatly baffled the others can, wondering if they were all in on the trick. Morvay quips by asking if Kuya's eyesight is going bad with old age, while Kuya counters back that he's considering feasting on roasted incubus.

     Chapter 7
  • Karu. Just his inflated ego makes for a few laughs, and it's clear that Eiden is playing along half out of amusement and half because he has no energy.
  • Garu introducing himself to the other clansmen, with Kuya so thrown off by his innocence he instinctively shakes his hand.
  • Karu ends up trying to emerge and hits Garu, who whines that Karu lost their rock-paper-scissors game so he gets to control the body today. They then proceed to argue in front of the others about whether or not they top Eiden, which Kuya happily seizes the moment to tease Eiden.
Quincy: This looks like it's going to be troublesome.

     Chapter 8
  • Blade feeding Eiden his cooking. Eiden remarks at how tasteless and disgusting it is, but tries not to complain.
    • Then when Eiden says how much he liked the fruit Blade brought, Blade then makes it his mission to constantly feed Eiden just that fruit. Eiden gets so sick of it he has to order Blade not to bring any of it along when they leave the Dead Zone.
  • Eiden attempts to break it to Blade that he can't stay with him in the Dead Zone forever, but can't bring himself to actually say it because of Blade's puppy dog face.

     Chapter 9
  • The clansmen all find out how Blade refers to Eiden, with Kuya gleefully using it to his advantage.
    Kuya: Dar...ling ♥
Eiden: (flinches) Don't call me that, and don't touch me there!!
  • Yakumo apparently almost went on a rampage when he heard Eiden went missing, leading to the clansmen attempting to calm him down.
  • As Morvay flies towards the window to enter the manor, Aster immediately runs to the windows and slams it shut just as Morvay arrives. Cue Morvay slamming into the glass before managing to get inside.
    Morvay: Shitty-little-vampire!
  • Aster and Eiden are suffering under the Solaria heat and complaining about it together. This then makes Aster realize he didn't need to suffer, as he shifts into his bat form and basically makes Eiden hold him until they arrive at Solaria.
  • When Dante wouldn't see them when they arrived, the butler informs them it's because they came at such a short notice, when there's usually a two month wait to see Dante. Aster immediately claims Eiden has been travelling for six months to see Dante. Eiden snarks at how good Aster is at lying.
  • Blade comes to bring Eiden water after Dante's punishment. Except Dante's butler told Blade that Eiden was doing "special exercises filled with love." Eiden wonders why the butler made it sound shady.

     Chapter 10
  • Blade's nickname for Dante? Lord Jackass. Eiden even accidentally starts referring to Dante with this nickname when he initially tries to correct Blade.
    Dante: Not you too!
  • Blade repeatedly interrupting Dante's lesson about the treaty between Dante's ancestors and the Fire Spirits. It culminates in Blade and Eiden making wishes, with Blade wishing to find more elemental gemstone pieces because they're shiny and pretty,, Eiden protesting after how much effort collecting the Fire Altar gemstone pieces took and Dante yelling at them both to show the Fire Spirits some respect.
  • Eiden attempts to learn some fighting moves from the other clansmen, but ends with him being too tired and beat up to ask to continue the lesson.
  • Blade gets the medicinal herbs, sweet sandgrass, for Eiden. However, they are ridiculously bitter to the point of Eiden wondering who put “sweet” in the name, and is very dismayed to hear that Blade has been actively gathering herbs seeing how “dedicated” Eiden was when drinking them.

Events

     White Day
  • Yakumo and Edmond are practicing making sweets for the event, and as Yakumo quickly finds out, Edmond can't cook. He burns some chocolate trying to melt them, haphazardly stabs a tub of almonds and berries with a knife, and ends up ruining a cake by dousing a perfectly baked cake with frosting. The frosting debacle was because the frosting wasn't sweet enough (by his standards, anyway) and he tried to compensate. From Yakumo's dark aura leaking out, it's evident he is trying his best to not to go ballistic on Edmond.
  • Aster tells Eiden that Yakumo and Edmond were convinced into wearing the White Day outfits because they could attract customers at day and Eiden at night. Needless to say their reactions are priceless.
  • Then when Yakumo and Edmond exchange chocolates with Eiden, the latter finds out they're...not to his expectations. Yakumo's is extremely bitter; no sugar, only a touch of milk, dark as black as dark chocolate can be. Edmond's on the other hand is on the extreme opposite of the flavor spectrum: sickeningly sweet, with no chocolate flavoring to be found due to the overpowering creams and fruit jams.

     Zest of Life
  • How does Eiden stop the escaping poachers? By throwing Olivine's bible at their heads!

     Chase the Rainbow
  • A summer festival has rolled in, and Dante, Edmond, and Eiden are touring the festival grounds, even dressed up for the occasion. What's their first order of business? A block-shooting game to collect a magic seal... except Dante and Edmond get a little too into it, turning it into a childish competition where Eiden is the bystander.

Journey to a NU ☆ World

  • The plotline has a silly enough premise, Eiden having a dream of an alternate universe where he's the villain. Among the shuffled roles and design changes, one detail that sticks out the most is a buff Topper. The one joked about on April Fool's Day. And he's the village elder!

Meta

  • For April Fools day, the Twitter account "announced" a new character added to the harem. It was basically a buff Topper.
