Heartwarming / Mad Max

• "I'm crazy about you."
• At the very end of The Road Warrior, The Gyrocaptain drives up to Max, grinning and smoking a cigar. Max cracks a brief smile back for the first time in years.
• The Feral Kid. Before, he just did his own thing, but after Max gave the kid a music box he found earlier, he warmed up to him.
• Max doesn't so much as flinch when the refinery-colonists haul his car - the most valuable thing he possesses, which they plainly don't intend to return - into their compound. But when Dog leaps out and attacks the mechanic's feet, he wrests free of his captors' grip and grabs hold of his pet so they won't kill it.
• Goose finds a young woman who had been assaulted by Toecutter's gang. She's at first so frightened that she recoils whenever he tries to get near, but he is able to reassure her enough to let him help.
  Goose: I know you're frightened girl, but no one's gonna hurt you anymore. My name is Jim Goose, and everything is gonna be all right."
