Season 1

Episode 4 Cactus Town

• The flashback of Kipo and her dad singing a duet.
• Kipo manages to calm down the Mega Monkey by singing her father’s song. On the other hand, the giant animal assures her that her people, included her father, are safe and escaped.

Episode 6 Ratland

• It's Kipo's birthday! And, since Wolf doesn't know when hers is, Kipo declares today is Wolf's as well. And decides that the other two must get her a present while she gets one for Wolf.
  • Wolf finds Kipo a jacket. Thanks to Dave being The Load even more than usual she only manages to bring a sleeve back, but Kipo loves it.
  • Kipo gets Wolf a cute hair dec, also practical since it keeps her hair out of her eyes.
  • Benson treats Kipo to an evening at Ratland, a carnival manned by friendly rats. And even though he doesn't return her feelings — both because he sees Kipo as a friend and also because he's gay — and they have a fight with Scarlemagne's soldiers, they have a good time.

Episode 7 Mulholland

• Just the fact that Wolf has grown to like Kipo so much that her ideal dream is the two of them fighting and surviving together on the surface.
• Wolf becomes the first person to ever breakout of one of Tad's dreams, why? Because the idealized Kipo in her dream (big, strong and tough) is not her Kipo, she wants the real one, flaws and all.

Episode 9 Mute eat Mute World

• Wolf is facing off the Newton Wolf pack, but the problem is, she's having PTSD flashbacks to the wolf pack who adopted her (only to betray her, especially the wolf pup she saw as a sister). The two Newtons remind her too much of her parents, and seeing Kipo depicted as the sister wolf makes her drops her staff out of fear from reliving her past. But instead of betraying her, Kipo grabs the staff and defends her. When all is said and done, Wolf gives Kipo a grateful hug, thankful for the loyal sister figure she is.
• While in the tunnel, Jamack discovers Kipo's cat-like eyes. She tells him about her being part mute and how Wolf reacted. Jamack assures her that Wolf is just afraid of change, even making funny suggestions to Kipo on handling her. Jamack shows heart and gives Kipo the fatherly advice she needed.

Season 2

Paw Of The Jaguar

• Kipo freeing the Mega Monkey from her collar. She is grateful to her, and even shows concern when Kipo tells her to not follow her to Scarlemagne’s lair.
  • Kipo gives her a bracelet as a sign of friendship.
• Benson and Troy bonding over flapjacks.
• The timbercats taking in Kipo's friends making it clear that any friend of Kipo's is a friend of theirs.
• Doubles as Funny, but when Lio tells Kipo that he and her mother mutated her DNA with a Jaguar Mute’s one when she was an embryo, not only does she have no grudges for it, but she’s actually excited about it.
• After failing to save her father because of her overconfidence in her Jaguar powers, Kipo despairs over the fact that every decision she makes is wrong. However her friends comforted her by pointing out that her decision to hide her burrow’s friends in the Timbercats territory was a good idea after all.

The Goat Cheese Prophecy

• Kipo and the others are ecstatic that Brad and Amy are OK after Scarlemagne destroys their park.
• The Chevre sisters flashback shows them being positively delighted to find that Lio is carrying a baby with him, and kiss the infant Kipo like she's their own granddaughter. When she turns up again years later they're happy to see the girl again.

The Ballad of Brunchingtin Beach

• Jamack helping Kipo. He really does care about her even if he won't admit it.

Fun Gus part 1

• Lio's pure joy upon finding out his wife's pregnant. Made even better when the scene cuts back to Kipo, moved to tears as she reads about it.
  Kipo: "We are so excited and can't wait to meet our little Kipo!" (laughs)
  Wolf: They loved you so much.
• Honestly, most of the flashback scenes of Lio and Song are heartwarming. The two were very much in love, and believed in what they were doing.

Fun Gus part 2

• Kipo's anchor? A photo of her and her family.
• While it’s a Tearjerker on its own, The Reveal that the Mega Monkey is Kipo’s mother puts her previous interactions with Kipo on a sweet and beautiful note:
  • After being calmed down in “Cactustown”, she recognized the song Lio used to sing to her, and immediately realized that the one who is playing it is her daughter, as she gently stroke her hair. Later when she was freed from her collar, she thanked Kipo and she was worried about her plan to save Lio from Scarlemagne. Despite her animalistic form, she really loves her daughter.

Sympathy for the Mandrill

• After hearing his back story and about the abuse and abandonment he suffered, Kipo actually sides with Scarlemagne, culminating in a Cooldown Hug when he gets upset at Lio calling him Hugo.
  Scarlemagne, noticing Kipo is hugging him: What ... what are you doing?
  Kipo: I'm hugging you.
  Scarlemagne: Why?
  Kipo: Because you need it.
  • On that note, when Lio admits it his fault and flat out states he understands if Kipo hates him now, Kipo assures her father that's not the case.
• By the end of the episode and for the rest of the season it's pretty clear that Kipo considers Scarlemagne, or more accurately Hugo, to be her brother.
• Although he shows it in a twisted way, Scarlemagne is pleased to find out Song is still alive, and that she's the reason the Mega Monkey is special. Unlike Lio, Scarlemagne's impression of his adoptive mother might still be a positive one.

All that Glitters

• Kipo and her dad making a new blanket for Scarlemagne.
• Scarlemagne shoots Lio with pheromones when he thinks he and Kipo are acting suspiciously. A mind-controlled Lio is completely candid: that they were attacked by Mod Frogs, but that Kipo beat them effortlessly, and that she's amazing.
  • He also admits that it was wrong of him to give up on Hugo, and apologizes for abandoning him. Even Scarlemagne appears to be genuinely moved by this.
• The part where Scarlemagne and Kipo play piano together.
• In a twisted way Scarlemagne's big brother instinct turning the three mod frogs into golden statues for bothering Kipo. He really does love Kipo in his own way.

Heroes on Fire

• In Song’s mindscape, she asks Mulholland to tell Kipo her mother loves her very much. When he does so, Kipo is moved by it.
• Doubles as Tear Jerker, but Kipo is willing to transform into the Mega Jaguar even with her anchor destroyed, and even if it means losing her own humanity for good in the process, to save everyone from molten gold. Even Scarlemagne seems shocked by it.
  • Song and Kipo, mother and daughter, working together to save everyone. Also counts as Awesome.
  • Song comforting her own daughter when the latter can't change back to normal at first.
• Wolf, Benson and Dave getting through to Kipo by singing to her. What makes it even more heartwarming is that Wolf is the one to start singing, as a reminder of "their own song".
  • In her mindscape, while listening the song, Kipo starts to remember every good moment she had with her friends over the course of her journey. Her serene and peaceful face she makes as she changes back says all.
• Lio risking his neck to save Scarlemagne from molten gold.
• Kipo promising her mother they will find a way to bring her back to her human form together.

Season 3

Everything is crabs

• Apparently every time Kipo and her mom return from looking for the humans, the cats raise their axes for Kipo.

• Kipo is the only person who visits Hugo and he seems to enjoy her company and even offers her advice despite the advice being terrible and something that Kipo doesn't want to do. It's clear that Hugo still cares about her.

• The mute kids playing together not really caring about their parents' feud.
  • Lio also joins in with playing with the kids.
    • Later on Yumyann agrees to babysit the kids.
  Yumyan: Yumyan babysits you all!

• The snakes joining the alliance.

Code Word Milkshakes

• Doag apparently spends every night dancing to her "wall siren" (Really Hyun-Soo singing) and Benson compliments on her dancing.

• While everyone is explaining to Doag about everything that Emilia has done, Troy makes a point in mentioning that she has been trying to kill Kipo ever since Kipo was a baby and that she didn't even try Benson's pancakes which makes him furious.

• Troy manages to break into Emilia's lab which causes Benson to say that his boyfriend is amazing.

• The second that Doag discovers that Emilia trapped her wall siren is the moment that she realizes that Kipo is telling the truth and helps them rescue everyone.

• Camille mentions that Jamack has been talking about Kipo rescuing them non-stop.

• The snakes and the cats making up a song together.

• Lio and Dave having a boys night together.

A Wolf in wolf's clothing.

• It happened off-screen, but at one point Wolf told Kipo her backstory, considering her reaction when she realized that Margot is the one who betrayed her the most. This proves how much Wolf trusts Kipo enough to tell such a touchy subject.

• Kipo gives Wolf the space to decide what to do with Margot, since it's her relationship and it should be her choice.
  Kipo (to Wolf): Okay. I respect your boundaries, but I'm here if you need me to trample her.

• Hugo playing with the Mute kids.

• Hugo apologizing.

Don't you forget a Meow me.

• Hugo agreeing to help Song learn to speak again in exchange for a piano.

• One of Hugo's attempts to bridge the language gap for the mutated Song is using children's alphabet blocks. While they are too small for Song to use in her giant state, Hugo does end up referencing how their roles were once reversed and Hugo relied on the same kind of blocks to communicate before he was fluent in human language. Song gives a knowing smile upon hearing this.

• After helping Kipo fight Dr. Emilia in the former's mind, Mulholland decides to leave the forest as he's worried that if he gets infected with the cure, he'll turn back into water and cure anyone that touches him.

• Yumyan's final words before Emilia's cure takes hold returning him to a normal cat.

Song Remix

• The second that Dr. Emilia reveals that Kipo is alive and that she intends to kill Kipo is the moment a mega mute Song tries to attack her.

• After stealing a cure sample from Dr. Emilia, Lio uses it on Song. After 13 years (or two-and-a-half seasons) Kipo finally has her Mum back.
  • Made even better by Song's first words.
    Song: Kipo.

• It's clear that Wolf has became a part of Kipo's family as she calls Song mom too and spends time with Lio.

It's a Trap

• Everyone working together to help Kipo.

• Dahlia and Asher's parents start questioning if Emilia is right and change their minds when they see Molly saving their kids.
  • Just the sight of Molly saving Dahlia and Asher shows that Molly's really come to care for the twins after all the time they've spent with the Timbercats.

• The reason Billions got cured? He was protecting his brother.

• Zane saving Label from being cured.

Requiem for a Dave

• Zane defending Kipo when Hoag claims that she wanted to eat him.

• Doag calling out her dad for attacking Kipo's friends.

• Zane attempting to get through to Emilia by telling her not all mutes are bad. It doesn't work at all but points for trying.

• Dave telling Kipo the story of how he and a colony of other Daves went to war with humans and their descendants over the course of 200 years over a handheld electric fan. Contrary to what the audience and his friends think he actually has a rather good point to the story: it's how he and Benson became the friends they are today after becoming the Last of Their Kind.
  • The moral of the story? You can't end a war with more war but by stopping, taking a breath, and realizing you're not so different.
• Dave's story gets through to Kipo. When she finds the ship, Kipo lands on the deck and tells her people that she was going to do exactly what they feared and sink the ship. But she's realized that it won't solve anything and so has decided on another course of action: throw a dance party.

Hidden Treasures

• Everyone (as in both humans and Mutes eventually) agreeing to come to Prahm, with Molly, Camille, and Label coming over to accept the invitation on the behalf of all Mutes.
  • When Kipo first explains the idea behind "Prahm" ^note Party Reconciling All Humans and Mutes, Dr. Emilia is naturally against it and asks who would throw a party in the middle of a war. All of the humans, after a beat, answer "Kipo". Fridge Heartwarming as it's probably what convinced them it wasn't a trap and a genuine suggestion on Kipo's part.
  • Amongst the hold-outs against the part is Dr. Emilia, Hoag, and Greta; in other words everyone else is on board with giving Prahm a shot which includes Zane who completes his Heel–Face Turn from the last two episodes.
• The Mutes are also against it of course given they just had a massive battle with the humans and lost a number of friends to Emilia's "cure". Note its not a general hatred of humans, but simply anger at what they did and Kipo trying to still coming with a peaceful solution as opposed to sinking the boat. Though eventually they come around to the idea after Kipo and the humans do a "Prahm-posal/apology" and give peace one last chance.
  • Despite the rest of the Mutes returning and refusing Prahm at first, Scarlemagne and Jamack stayed by Kipo's side and helped.
• Dave notices Benson looking over to where Troy is sitting. He asks what he’s thinking about. Benson replies that he was thinking about how to ask Troy to go to Prahm with him. Dave says that he was “thinking about French fries are the perfect food”, to which Benson says that Troy is the “french fries of boyfriends”.
• Speaking of Prahm proposals, Benson asking Troy to Prahm which leads to Troy saying he was trying to find the perfect chance to ask Benson. Cue Benson and Troy's first on-screen kiss.
• Scarlemagne and Wolf agreeing that Emilia can't be trusted and want to stop her to protect Kipo. When these characters were first shown on-screen, Wolf hated mutes and Scarlemagne hated humans. Now, however, they are willing to work together to save the one person who means more to them than anything: Kipo. This really shows just how far they've come.
• In a flashback, Liam, Emilia's brother, meets Brad and Amy and inspires them to open up Ratland to humans and mutes. Which sadly leads to Emilia murdering her own brother.

Prahmises

• The simple fact that Prahm works: Kipo, a 13 year-old girl, becomes the first person in Western Animation history to end 200 years of Fantastic Racism and conflict with a freakin' dance party.
• Scarlemagne and Wolf realizing that they can't attack Emilia and instead they go to Prahm.
• Wolf finally putting her past behind her and getting rid of the wolf pelt that she kept.
• Scarlemagne finds the blanket Kipo made him in the ruins of his old headquarters, and decides to wear it to Prahm as a cravat.
• Scarlemagne's apology speech at Prahm. He makes it clear that he want to make amends. This speech also allows humans and mutes to start properly apologizing for everything that happened during this season.
  Scarlemagne: (clears throat) Uh... I know I've hurt all of you. But I've come to believe in the future that Kipo's trying to make for all of us and I want to help, however I can. If you can forgive me.
• After spending the entire episode trying to get Doag to come back with him, Hoag finally sees that the mutes aren't monsters after Kipo shows him how much fun his daughter is having dancing with them. He relents and dances with the mutes and Doag.
  • He later warns everyone that Emilia tampered with the fireworks.

Age of the Wonderbeasts

• As the cure falls down upon the mutes, the humans rush to protect them by sheltering them in any way they can, showing that they are truly committed to befriending the mutes and atoning for their actions.
  • Lio and Song coming to Scarlemagne's aid as he scrambles to avoid being hit by the cure, holding a blanket over him to shield him, prompting him to look at them with an expression of bewilderment. The adoptive parents that weren't able to protect him from Emilia as a child, and who he felt gave up on him too quickly, are there to save him when he needs it the most.
• When Jamack attacks Emilia, he shouts this at her
  Jamack: You need to do some soul-searching!
• Song attacking Emilia with a mega mute dog for keeping her from Kipo for thirteen years.
  • Which leads to Scarlemagne cheering her on. It's clear that he thinks the world of his adopted family.
• Scarlemagne saving Kipo from a recently mega-mutated Emilia and shouting loudly that Kipo is his sister for the first time on-screen before flying into Emilia's face in his flamingo car. Doubles as a Tearjerker as his attack on Emilia fatally wounds him and he dies peacefully surrounded by his adoptive family before the epilogue.
  • Just before enacting his sacrifice, Scarlemagne tells Lio and Song that he's glad they could be a family again, just one last time.
  • As bittersweet as it is, Scarlemagne asks that he be called Hugo before he dies. After spending 13 years in bitterness towards humans, Hugo is back.
• In an epilogue, five years after the events of the episode, an older Kipo narrates how everything has changed after Hugo's Heroic Sacrifice. She then leaves a cupcake beneath a statue of Hugo and wishes him a happy birthday before having a picnic with her family and friends.
  • Benson and Troy opened up a restaurant.
    • The sight of Yarnchopper buying fries with a still-normal Yumyan in tow. If anything, this indicates that the other Timber Cats still take care of him, regardless what he's been reduced to. Looks like his dying wish was recognized: they didn't forget him.
  • Jamack rides a travel business.
  • Dave sometimes gives talks at the Newton Wolves' place much to their horror.
