Franny finally gaining acceptance from her peers after saving the school from the Pumpkin-Crab Monster.
Miss Shelly is a perfectly ordinary young woman, who you'd normally expect to be weirded out by Franny's quirks, but... nope! She thinks it's awesome that Franny's into science and all things creepy, and tells her she likes her just the way she is. On the flipside, Franny thinks Miss Shelly is the best teacher she's ever had.
Book 2: Attack of the 50-Ft. Cupid
Franny telling Igor that even if he isn't the best lab assistant, he's still her lab assistant.
Book 3: The Invisible Fran
Franny inviting Billy to her house to bake cookies using the oven she built from the remains of the two-headed robot. What makes the ending especially heartwarming is the illustration of Franny and Billy looking on with a smile while Igor eats the resulting cookies.
Book 6: The Fran With Four Brains
The book does a good demonstration of how strong the bond between Franny and her lab assistant Igor has grown since the latter's introduction in the second book. There is even one illustration of Franny reading to Igor while he sucks his thumb and one where Igor tucks Franny into bed while kissing her goodnight.
Book 7: The Frandidate
Rather than be destroyed or erased from existence like the previous books' monsters of the week, the Frandidate suit finds a new purpose when Franny turns it into the Stein family's new couch, and it finds itself perfectly content with its new purpose being to provide people with a comfortable place to sit.
Book 8: Bad Hair Day
It is revealed in this book that Franny genuinely believes that her dog Igor is beautiful when her mother asks why it doesn't bother her that Igor is ugly. A later scene has her tell Igor not to listen to one of the pigtail monsters when it expresses disgust at the sight of a hairless Igor. By the end of the book, her mother is able to see the charm and grace in Igor that her daughter sees.
Franny describes Igor as being the least selfish creature in existence.
Book 9: Recipe for Disaster
When Igor has the future helmet put on his head and he's shown what his future would be like if he didn't stop eating the Muffin Man's muffins, he instantly regrets growling at Franny earlier for getting between him and the muffins. Franny makes it clear she forgives Igor and the two embrace.
The Muffin Man becomes another creation of Franny to get a happy ending. After realizing that forcing people to make muffins isn't right and remembering Franny's claim that she could reinvent him into anything when he was just the school's old furnace, the Muffin Man makes himself a kiln and starts teaching the children to make clay sculptures. He even makes a ceramic plate for Franny to show his gratitude for Franny showing him the error of his ways.
