Main Game and Gameplay

• The relationship between Rice and Master Attendant is this.
  • A good example of this being shown is near the beginning of the story where Rice goes out to get ingredients for Master Attendant without them knowing. They then begin to worry about her and while Olivia tries to reassure them that her body will return to them if she runs into trouble, they still feel responsible for her because she is their Food Soul.
• Despite having just met him, Master Attendant cares about Ichi's safety as well when both of them are lost in the woods with Rice.
• Despite all of their snark and Only Sane Man status, Master Attendant still takes the time to play and goof off with some of the younger Food Souls.
• Just about everything with Sakuramochi. All the girl wants to do is make everyone feel better and she will gladly listen to their problems.
• Boston Lobster genuinely wants the Tofu Twins to reconcile. Sure his attempt for them to do so didn't go well, but it's the thought that counts.
• Napoleon Cake and the rest of his squad's treatment of B-52, especially when compared to how Spaghetti treated the latter Food Soul.

Intimacy/Pledge Lines

• Form a pledge with any of the Food Souls and you'll get a line that would sound reminiscent to a wedding vow. Some may be cheesy but hearing how much they value you in return of how much you like them is sweet in itself.

• Rice cries tears of joy, wondering if she deserves happiness with the Master Attendant after all. Afterwards she begins acting like a worried housewife towards him/her, which is very cute.
• Caviar thanking Master Attendant for never doubting him and then he promises them that one day, he'll take them to see the worlds that he has seen.
• Pineapple Cake gets her wish to be on a wedding, just like she wanted.
• Even though Whisky is an irredemable character, it's kinda sweet how he acknowledges that he'll continue his evil deeds and asks the Master Attendant if he/she still has second thoughts about marrying him. He actually sounds concerned that he'll be dragging the Master Attendant in his obsessive quest to revive Lilia. Afterwards he admits that he feels more at ease with the Master Attendant, now that he/she accepted him.
  "You know something? The price of being with me... is that your whole life... you'll be swindled by me. But if you still won't regret it, then rest forever in this dream I've weaved for you."
• Similarly with Spaghetti. He'll continue his evil deeds and wonders if the Master Attendant still has second thoughts.
• Salt 'n Pepper Shrimp resents humans due to his backstory and is very wary when the Master Attendant acts nice to him (such as feeding or poking him). If the Master Attendant marries him, he acknowledges he/she is different from the cruel scientists in his backstory and vows to protect him/her from now on.
• B-52 saying that he feels a warm feeling inside his chest that he can't understand.
  "What a truly beautiful ceremony. From this point on, will you stay with me always? Although I don't quite understand this feeling, it seems like there is a flame inside of my body that wants to burst out. Is this... happiness?"
• The haughty Stargazy Pie acknowledging the Master Attendant as her king.
• Salty Tofu laughs off the pledge at first, insisting that the Master Attendant is still his plaything anyway....then takes it back after realizing he upsetted him/her.
  • Afterwards, his intimacy lines involve doing normal things such as listening to music together and asking Master Attendant what they want to do. Considering his attitude toward them before, this comes off as actually kinda sweet.
• Cordyceps is grateful for meeting the Master Attendant before losing his senses completely. Coming from the guy who hates humans and is pathologically obsessed with his sister, that says something.
• Raindrop Cake admitting that he's beginning to look forward to tomorrow.
• Ume Ochazuke having another place to call home.
• Eggette becomes more confident and gains a resolve to become stronger so that the Master Attendant would see him as an equal. This is heartwarming because originally he was obsessed with Mango Pudding, unaware that she's a humongous bitch off the stage and that her "encouraging words" to him in the past were just generic stock lines. Now somebody actually cares for him for real.
• Durian Pancake finally starts opening up to the Master Attendant, talking to him/her directly and even playing games. Even if he hasn't completely gotten over the trauma over what his previous Master Attendant did to him, that's an improvement.
  "Want to play candlelight dinner with me?"

Events

• 1st Anniversary Event
  • Raindrop Cake lets Strawberry Daifuku sit on his lap while they watch Dorayaki participate in a contest. Strawberry Daifuku gets really excited and begins cheering for her friend. Bonito Rice tries to get her to calm down as not to disturb Raindrop Cake. However, Raindrop Cake tells him that it's ok and that he's happier now.
  • Pizza enthusiastically cheering Cheese on in the eating contest.
  • Black Tea offers to help win a prize for a little girl whose brother was too sick to attend the carnival:
  Black Tea: I can help you get the big bear, trust me.
  • After Strawberry Daifuku wanders off and gets separated from Sanma and the others, she begins to cry. Fondant Cake notices this and tries her best to comfort the little one.
• Newborn Fire Event
  • Black Tea agrees to let Black Truffle study her pistols in the hope that it'll prevent further conflict.

Character Backstories

• Despite all of the cruel and selfish humans in the Food Fantasy world, there are still ones who treat the cast with kindness and understanding, showing that not all humans are that bad.
• Due to his electricity powers and the fact that he's not good with people, many of the people in Eclair's backstory feared him. However, one day he saves a young woman who instead of running away in fear, thanks him and invites him back to her house. Once there, he accidentally breaks a music box that she had received from a friend. While she forgives him saying that he didn't do it on purpose, he still feels guilty about it and tries to find a replacement.
  • He is also quick to defend her once he overhears some of the townspeople talking behind her back and when he finds out that she had to become a prostitute to pay off her family's debts to a mob, his opinion of her doesn't change at all.
  • Her friend seemed to feel the same way as when he came back to the town, he was happy to see that she was still the kind person that he remembered her as and refused to let what others thought of her ruin his opinion of her. He then proposes to her and Eclair is invited to their wedding.
• Near the end of Yellow Wine's backstory, he rescues the kidnapped children and when they seemed reluctant to leave, he has to pull them outside, with the last one being Jiuniang. Him being himself, is about to call her stupid for not resisting but stops himself. He then asks her what her name is, promises to protect her, and takes her back to the restaurant where his Master Attendant works.
  • Later on in Jiuniang's backstory, he comforts her after she has a nightmare.
• After running away from home out of guilt for lying to his deceased Master Attendant about the latter's food still tasting good, Long Bao finds Crab Long Bao in the peach blossom forest. The two of them talk and the latter Food Soul tells that now he understands why the former lied but that he still owes the old man an apology. It was at that moment that the two Food Souls became friends. Later, Long Bao returns home and apologizes to his MA. The townspeople are relieved to see him again and tell him that the old man wasn't angry at him. Even when they scolded him for lying, it was because they cared about him and wanted him to learn from his mistake.
• Crab Long Bao's Master Attendant drinks Long Bao's tea. Despite it still being disgustingly sour, she tells him that it was the sweetest cup of tea she ever had because he put his heart into it. This is especially heartwarming considering how the game usually disses the tea.
  • It is also implied that Long Bao makes his tea with vinegar because it was his former Master Attendant's favorite.
• Ume Ochazuke and her friend Plum run away from her abusive Master Attendant and she tries to use herself as a distraction so that Plum can escape. Plum comes back for her though and the two of the are attacked by a Fallen Angel. When Ume passes out trying to protect her, Plum carries her over to the next town. Once the Fallen decides to attack them again, Sukiyaki rescues them and nurses them back to health. Once she regains consciousness, Ume decides to work for him as he saved both of their lives and because she and Plum can be together. After a while, she admits that her workplace became more like a home for her.
  • The part where she teases Sukiyaki is also kinda cute.
• Rice befriending Salt n' Pepper Shrimp in their backstory. While the circumstances are sad (they're both being experimented by scientists) Rice actually encourages him and tries to convince him that the experiments are not so bad, as they're helping humanity this way. This can literally bring tears to your eyes knowing what's about to happen to Rice...
• Despite Oyster insulting and yelling at him, Beer remains kind and understanding to him the whole time that they're traveling together. Beer is listed as one of the people Oyster likes in his profile, implying that he ended up appreciating him.
• The reason why Matsutake Dobinmushi became a business man was so that his home village wouldn't fall into poverty.
• Despite having every reason to hate him, Dragon & Phoenix forgives Realgar Wine and eventually stops associating him with the cult.
• It is shown multiple times in his backstory that Omurice's Master Attendant Lacey is one of the few people that he prioritizes over Jello and he even pretends to be her dead childhood friend Joel so that she won't be sad. Doubles as a Tearjerker.
• Sakuramochi's Master Attendant wishing her a Happy Birthday.
• Although she was hired in order to get rid of him, Apple Pie ends up telling Aizen about her dream of becoming a famous singer. Much to her surprise, the Fallen Angel asks her to sing a song for him with the condition that if its good, he'll leave. She complies with his request and while he finds her singing more fun than pleasant, he sees how hard she worked and leaves. In many backstories, Fallen Angels are often shown to be violent monsters so it's nice to see a situation with one that is resolved peacefully.

Unsorted

• This comic about the Food Souls writing letters for the Master Attendant for the Love Note Day. The Master Attendant received tons of letters in the end, showing that all the Food Souls love him in their own way.
