- It's also a bit funny, but during the Reactor 5 mission, Cloud at one points snarkily wonders if Barret is playing chaperone for Tifa. Barret will retort he's damn right, showing he sees her as some sort of surrogate daughter. Childhood friend isn't enough in his book.
- It's also a bit of a Tear Jerker, but if Aerith dies during the fight against Jenova-LIFE, she will cast Great Gospel on Cloud and his team as a Last Ditch Move. Her last action was to try and protect her friends.
- Idle models of the party members are displayed around the lake in which Aerith was buried. While most react with grief and shock if interacted with, Vincent and Barret offer Cloud words of encouragement. The former advises Cloud to not make the same mistakes as him, the latter reminds Cloud that he's not alone and they're here for him.
- In Kalm during the events of Disk 3, there's a small optional scene showing a father-daughter moment between Barret and Marlene.
- It's sandwiched between funny moments, but Yuffie's optional end-game sidequests features her father genuinely and earnestly saying to her that he loves her and she's Wutai's pride. While she's acting tough, it's clear that Yuffie is also touched.
- Yuffie's and Red XIII's interactions during their idle dialogues in towns are usually comical, due to the fact that the former keeps pestering the latter. However, if interacted with in Under Junon during Disk 3, they will discuss what they'll do after Sephiroth's defeat. Red XIII will say that he'll probably continue to travel, and Yuffie proposes that she accompanies him.
- In general, saving Aerith's life will (unsurprisingly) lead to plenty of heartwarming moments featuring her.
- She finally gets to go on the Highwind, and her dialogue box indicates that she's ecstatic.
- The mod takes the time to highlight her friendship with Tifa. In their idle dialogues, they are from time to time shown talking with each other. During the Reunion scene, if in the party, she rushes to Tifa's side in order to help her after Cloud regroups with Sephiroth. Aerith is part of the rescue team to free Tifa and Barret during the Raid on Junon, and she is shown to be greatly worried for Tifa's safety all the way through. When they are safe on the Highwind, she attempts to console her friend over Cloud's loss. If in the party when they find Cloud in Mideel, she encourages Tifa to stay with Cloud to watch over him while she leaves with the others. If Tifa is selected as a leader (a feature available in the Highwind after reaching the bottom of the Northern Crater), in her idle dialogue on the Highwind Aerith will ask Tifa to take her in the team with her. These moments highlight the fact that, in spite of their slight love rivalry, the two women are still friends.
- Learning the truth about Zack's death allows her to move on. She even teases Cloud by mentioning that she might have found someone else, before saying to a flustered Cloud that she's joking. Maybe.
- In her idle animation at Kalm during Disk 3, she's shown talking with Elmyra, sharing the tales of her adventures with her adoptive mother.
