• When Brás is brooding about writing about death, Jorge comforts him by saying that death is a part of life.
• Genarinho was brutally killed by his nephew, but before it, he was an amicable man who enjoyed talking to Brás. When Joca is ranting about stuff going on back home, Genarinho offers to help him through this time.
