Heartwarming / Blood Blockade Battlefront

  • The premise of the show in general. The only reason Leo is with Libra in the first place is to find a cure for his blind and crippled sister. And the reason why Michella is blind is because she gave up her sight so her brother wouldn't have to. It's clear that the Watch siblings have a strong and loving bond, and it's tear-jerkingly sweet.
    • Klaus telling Leo, after hearing the above, that he is NOT a coward because he's here, trying to make things right.
    • Similarly, the bond between Black and White. Black lets the King of Despair use his body just so that he won't bother White.
    • And then there's Leo's romance with White. She's a good natured cheerful girl hiding a deep sadness, while he's a shy introvert with self-esteem issues. Over the course of the show, they help each other work through their issues and form a very strong bond.
  • While she is a psychopath, Aligura in episode 5 does get annoyed with Leo dithering when it comes to White, and encourages him to confess how he feels about her. It works and at the end of the episode, Leo gathers the courage to take White out to a movie.
  • Episode 6 in its entirety. Leo comes across a Beyondian named Nej. At first, Nej asks Leo for his burger, but Leo refuses to give him. Nej then recognizes Leo by calling him as 'the person who doesn't want to give his burger' (even later, after they properly introduce each other, he still calls 'Leonardo who doesn't want to give his burger'). But they soon become good friends and spend their time eating burgers together. Unfortunately, they soon forget their friendship due to Nej's spore, which Nej releases out of his anger upon seeing the delivery guys beating Leo. Much later after the incident, Leo unconsciously buys burgers for two people, and he wonders why he does it. Then he eats a burger, and wonders why he cries when eating it. He soon comes across Nej again (similar to how they first meet). Nej asks for Leo's burger, but unlike the first time they meet, Leo gives Nej the burger.
    • The little solo dance Leo does toward the end—he just looks so incredibly happy!
  • Season 2, episode 10.
    • This episode cements that K.K. places her family before anything else. Her husband also comforts her on being able to protect them when her younger son Kane gets angry at her initially being forced to miss Parents' Day. Despite K.K having to work constantly during parents' day, she affirms beyond doubt that she loves her sons more than anything in the world.
    • K.K's Evil Counterpart that episode is a supervillain who is also there on parents' day for his daughter. Like K.K, his child means the world to him, and he keeps off a deathmatch with K.K for her sake. At the end, he has to flee with her to stay ahead of the law, but is apologetic about needing her to transfer schools and shows nothing but love and devotion to the girl.
    • The fact that both K.K son and the bloodbreed daughter are still able to text one another.
  • Season 2, episode 11:
    • The fact that Leo and Black keep in contact, even discussing meeting in-person soon and Black encouraging Leo to call his sister.
    • The reunion between Leo and Michella is this. From Steven and Klaus promising to have Libra protect Michella, to Leo giving her a hug when he sees her.
    • Michella's nickname for Leo is Tortoise Knight, and in the manga, she explains to Klaus that she read somewhere that a tortoise's leg is designed in a way that they can't go backwards, and when she read that, she thought of Leo, how no matter how scared he gets, even if he's frozen in fear, he doesn't run away. He stays in place until he can move again.
    • The confirmation that Toby really does love Michella and that his natural disposition is an upstanding, kind-hearted man.
  • At the end of episode 12, Leo, bloody, beaten and barely clinging to life from his battle to protect his sister was heartwarming enough, but when we see some familiar red strings pull him out of the way we see a V formation of Klaus, Steven, Zapp, Zed and K.K.'s silhouettes walking forward. Any one of them would have been enough to save the day, but all five ensures a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown the likes of which no one would be on the receiving end of.
    • To put it in perspective, this is the same group that fought the nigh-unkillable Blood Breed an episode before and this villain is nowhere near that level. They comprise Libra's top operatives are masters of their art and they are there to save the Watch siblings.
  • The ending theme for season 1, with most of the cast dancing around and clearly having a great time. Including Blank, Femt and Aligura!
    • Klaus and Leo playing patty cake. There's just something about it that's so friggin' funny and so friggin' adorable.
