- Makoto requires little convincing to believe Ryuga is telling the truth about being framed. Likewise, at the end Sento comes to believe him as well, rescuing from the pursuing members of the NOL, finally giving the poor guy a break.
- The main reason Ryuga fixed his match was to get the money needed for Kasumi's (his girlfriend) medical treatment. He outright says that between having his championship title and Kasumi in his life, he chooses the latter with zero hesitation.
- During his raid on the NOL base with Ragna, he gets a chance to call her and assure her that he's alive and well, as well as getting help clearing his name. She is happy for him, the two's relationship clearly very warm and loving.
- While it's in the middle of a massive Tearjerker, it's also revealed that the two actually got engaged prior to his imprisonment.
- While it's somewhat Played for Laughs, how fast Ryuga and Ragna bond after meeting is rather wholesome, the two forming an instant bromance over their shared love of fighting, distrust of the NOL, and annoyance at having to deal with Sento.
- Ragna even defends Ryuga when Sento starts berating him for calling Kasumi, stating the guy deserves to let his girlfriend know he's okay.
- As Sento is struggling to hold back the Smash essence to give Ryuga and Kasumi a chance to share their final words, Ragna joins in, wanting to ensure they get closure as well.
- Makoto and Ryuga bonding in the museum over their respective childhoods, the two growing closer as friends.
- when Litchi sees Ragna and Ryuga stuck in the wall, her first reaction is to offer them medical treatment. In spite of their status as criminals, she says she doesn't discriminate over who she helps, showing just how kind she is.
- In spite of his belief that Build is a 'false' hero of justice, Bang immediately ceases hostilities and agrees to help once he hears that an innocent family is in danger.
- Sento's speech about what it means to be a hero of justice, admitting part of the reason he wears a mask is so people will have a symbol to bring them hope without giving him credit personally. This notably leaves an impact on Bang and Ryuga, the former of whom warms up to him over the course of the chapter.
- After Sento is poisoned by Blood Stark, Ragna chooses to bring his roommate to Litchi's to get treated rather than fight the man as he usually would. Given that Sento wakes up in their home, it implies he carried him home as well. This, plus his sincere compliment on using his position working for the NOL to develop anti spy phones makes it clear that in spite of all the annoyance and snark between the two, they do care about one another.
- How well Makoto and Ryuga get along, excitedly bouncing ideas over what powers his Dragon Fullbottle could give him, and are even mistaken for a couple when they are bickering. Ryuga doesn't like the implication that people consider them to be a thing, but it's nice to see how much the two have bonded in so short a time.
