  • Subject 50499-A's undying loyality to Acktreal is very sweet, and very surprising to Ackt who admits that they have a very valid reason to hate her for the things she has done and said.
Ackt: (tearfully) "You're brave, you know that? You're brave enough to be with someone like me."
  • Ackt all but admits to enjoying having Subject 50499-A as company in part 2, even though it's clear she's trying to suppress her feelings for them.
  • In part 3, as she is taking tissue samples from Subject 50499-A, she asks them in a concerned tone of voice if it hurt. She then awkwardly tries to dismiss it in a cold tone of voice, still trying to suppress her feelings.
  • Acktreal finally confessing her romantic feelings towards Subject 50499-A, and taking back her previous statement that she hopes that she will be legally permitted to eat them.
  • After a couple of episodes of her threatening to eat Subject 50499-A, she admits that humans may be fully sapient after all, and expresses fears that they were being horribly misrepresented amongst the officials discussing their rights. She talks about a possibility of her society judging the human species to not be sapient enough to qualify for full rights, so she offers to adopt both them and Tori in order to protect them from becoming livestock. Even though the Human Pet trope is normally dehumanizing, she states her intention of doing so with the full knowledge that humans deserve equal rights to her, but to protect them from a worse fate. She drops this issue when humanity does get equal rights.
Ackt: "I do have a pet already actually. You don't need to be mine anymore."
  • Shortly after Ackt carries Victoria to the holding bay, she releases her from her bonds, and the latter sprints to the locked door in an attempt to escape. By this time, Ackt is remorseful about her earlier behavior towards Tori, and she picks her up and pulls her into a Cooldown Hug as she explains herself. Even though Tori still refuses to forgive Ackt, she is able to at least calm down.
  • Ackt doesn't hesitate to say that she cares about Tori's well being, even though the latter refuses to forgive her.
  • The way in which Zedjichs talks to Tori is pretty cute, as she patiently answers her questions and doesn't seem offended when Tori voices her discomfort with her physical appearance.
  • When Ackt realizes that her venom glands are missing, she first suspects Kyra, her childhood friend. In the next video, it's revealed that she used less-than-legal means to expose the real culprit, Evianporial.
  • When Ackt angrily demands to go to the camera room to find out who removed her venom glands, Tori displays some interest in going with her. She might still be scared of her, and maybe even hate her, so it's especially heartwarming that she would display any interest in finding out who screwed Ackt over at all.
  • When Acktreal is in the midst of her second feral episode and stalking Hiboritch and Subject 50499-A, Zedjichs suggests to Hiboritch to lure her into the airlock to send her out into space.. Hiboritch refuses to do so, even when his own life was in danger, willing to hold on to look for alternatives.
  • Shortly after Ackt devours Kyra, she slowly becomes lucid and staggers to the testing cell, strapping herself onto the chair inside. The other crew members watch this from the security cameras, and realize that someone needs to go check up on her. Hiboritch is too scared to go, and Zedjichs suspects that Ackt is setting a trap for them. Subject 50499-A is brave enough to go. Zedjichs is both impressed and amused.
Zedjichs: Well of course you would, human!
  • After Ackt straps herself down inside of the testing chamber after her second feral episode, she and Subject 50499-A have a heartfelt conversation about the best way to move forward. They talk about their mistakes, and take cold comfort in the fact that Evianporial is mostly to blame for the accident that has occurred. She decides the best thing to do is to stop associating with Subject 50499-A entirely until she is able to figure out why humans set her predatory instincts off. She states this with the intention of returning to them once she is properly treated, reaffirming her love for them. Despite her Yandere tendencies, she's one of the few examples in fiction to be self-aware enough about them in order to do something about it, and protect the ones she cares about from herself until she can get her issues figured out.
  • Even though the surviving crew chews out Hiboritch for intentionally setting off a feral response from Ackt in order to dispose of some particularly nasty space pirates, Zedjichs is forced to admit that his actions saved the crew. Hiboritch considers it the nicest thing she ever said to him.
  • Ackt coming to terms with the fact that it's time for her career to come to an end, even if she doesn't get fired from her job. She states that she had a fulfilling career and that it is time for her to move on.
  • When Ackt "kisses" Subject 50499-A through the door in part 13. Earlier she refrained from kissing Subject 50499-A "her way" (as licking is more common with her species) in order to avoid triggering another feral episode. She first licks the door, but then corrects herself and does it the "human way." Even though the danger is long past due to how they are separated by a locked door until the crew can be rescued, she still shows respect to the sensibilities of other species, including humans, even with the one who's explicitly OK with being licked.
  • The prequel reveals that none of the crewmembers saw humanity as anything else but potential livestock species, even being somewhat crass about Tori's abduction. It retroactively makes their interactions with the humans from part 6 onward more heartwarming, since they were very quick to reverse themselves on their opinions of humanity, perhaps even feeling a bit guilty about it.
  • In Part 14, Ackt states her intention to kill herself via airlock. Subject 50499-A is about to open the door to stop her, and this convinces her to stop and distract them by talking about each of their childhoods. After admitting how miserable her childhood really was, she admits that the human was the first person she ever opened up to about it, the first person she ever felt comfortable talking to about it.
  • Ackt finally finds the truth about Kyra's death, and is upset with Oovoo for not telling her. But then as she admits that she herself was ready to commit suicide via airlock, she immediately realizes Oovoo pretty much saved her life by not disclosing it until much later.
  • She also admits that the reason she loves Subject 50499-A so much is that they allow her to be herself around them, as the human doesn't give two shits about what the "guidelines" are for carnivore and herbivore species to interact with each other. This also leads her to realize that while her human lover does try to see what's "human" about her, they don't judge her by what she lacks.
  • The last few minutes of part 14. A timeskip that shows that Ackt and Subject 50499-A have been living together peacefully as a couple, possibly even married. Yes, she does take the opportunity to engage in vorarephilic mouthplay with the human one last time before his surgery to replace the pheromones, but still.
