Ackt finally earns her happy ending. note
- The Not Afraid of You Anymore moment between Subject 50499-A and Acktreal. By part 2, they seem very confident that they are sufficiently protected by the laws governing Ackt's society, and that the "breach of conduct" will fall through, granting them equal rights to her. They let their Nightmare Fetishist side show through, clearly enjoying the impromptu mouthplay from Ackt, and cheekily reminding her of their current species classification when she talks about the supposed inevitability of her eating them. They basically conquer her by proving too kinky to intimidate, and by their third meeting, she's nervous and jittery, and they are eerily calm. However, it's also implied that Subject 50499-A's fearlessness is one of the things she admires about them.
- Acktreal finally cracks in part 3, and admits her feelings to Subject 50499-A. She takes her previous comments back about wanting to eat them, and genuinely wants Subject 50499-A to earn equal rights to her.
- Ackt is genuinely impressed with Subject 50499-A's intelligence and emotional maturity when she does the psychological evaluation on them. While she's still unsure if it will save humanity, she is at least confident it will tip the scales in their favor.
- When Ackt gets a message from mission control about the updated legal status of humanity, going from "unknown" classification to "protected animal", with an almost 90% chance of it being upgraded to full rights once more data is collected. Ackt is overjoyed at the prospect of humanity being equals to her under the law, especially since she was at first biased towards the possibility of them getting classified as "livestock" so she can eat them.
- She later receives a message that humanity, has, in fact, earned full rights. This is somewhat marred by the fact that she's undergoing a feral episode then and struggling to regain control.
- Zedjichs doesn't shy away from letting Subject 50499-A know how impressed she is with their bravery and loyality to Ackt, both after an attempted Heroic Sacrifice, then when they go to check up on Ackt when she locks herself up in the test cell.
- When a pair of space pirates dock on the R9 shuttle, they demand all of the specimens in exchange for getting their connection to Caridal back, which unfortunately includes Subject 50499-A, since neither of them care about the new laws concerning them and how they now have equal rights. Hiboritch slices open Subject 50499-A's arm in order to intentionally induce a third feral episode from Ackt, killing the two pirates by proxy by letting Ackt messily devour them both.
- In part 9, Zedjichs tells Subject 50499-A that they are extending an important job offer to them. In part 13, Acktreal goes into further detail about it during a conversation with them through the door, and tells them that her government has picked them to be an ambassador for Earth, and that the government considers them to be a very important individual.
- In part 14, while Ackt expresses frustration with the fact that Evianporial was not apprehended or brought to justice, she's at least satisfied with the fact that he did not get away with his attempted hate crime, has been outed as a member of an anti-enxion hate group, and can never show his face in respectable society ever again.
- Also in part 14, while the other aliens tending to Subject 50499-A maintain their stoic demeanors, Ackt tells the human that they're practically panicking because of their horrible first impression, even going so far as to treat the human like royalty. Very satisfying to see a supposed advanced alien society, reduced to groveling at Subject 50499-A's feet, all to convince him to take the ambassador job offer, after everything he's been through thanks to their incompetence and arrogance.
