  • How is it possible that Willow Ufgood was so heartless as to tell his children to let Elora Danan float away in the river instead of retrieving her?!?! He has his own kids, but why doesn't he care for a lost little baby? Yes, Elora's mother was killed at the beginning, but Willow doesn't know this, so what if her parents are looking for her and love her dearly?
    • The Nelwyn are shown to be a rather superstitious Close-Knit Community, and distrustful of anything to do with the Daikini. During the village council meeting scene, the villagers seem all too happy to go along with Burglekutt's heartless notion that they should just hand little Elora over to the Death Dogs. They also don't seem to care that the dogs would no doubt kill Elora, simply because she isn't a Nelwyn. Willow is a Nelwyn, which means he probably had those same prejudices before Elora came into his care.
  • Why didn't Queen Bavmorda order General Kael and his knights to kill all her enemies once she transformed them into pigs? She could have killed gotten rid of her enemies just while they were vulnerable!
    • She was an arrogant sorceress on a deadline, she likely thought she didn't need to bother with killing them. And it's not like she could have expected that her old rival Fin Raziel was among them, hiding in plain sight under the guise of a goat.
    • She also might have been planning on recruiting the survivors after ridding herself of the baby. She'll have more fun and get more recruits if she does it after crushing all hope.
    • She doesn't want to kill her daughter, who she transformed last.
  • If Queen Bavmorda had the ability to affect her enemies by saying just a few words, why instead of saying "You're not warriors. You're pigs!", didn't she just say "You're not warriors. You're dead!"? Boom! The rebel army would have died and no one, minus Willow and Fin Raziel, who, without an army were unlikely to win, could have saved Elora Danan from her.
    • Clearly she reveled in their suffering and their humiliation. Besides, being stuck as an animal is a full on Fate Worse than Death all on its own. Just look at Raziel!
    • It's also likely making people just drop dead isn't possible, we don't really have an idea of how magic works here. For example, she might not be able to kill the whole army, or she might need to rest afterwards.
