  • The video for the MISAMO subunit song "Marshmallow" opens with Mina getting a ride to her part-time job at a cosmetics counter. This is remarkable because the vehicle in question seems to be a left-hand drive E39 BMW 5 series sedan being operated by Minsu, the fourth character in the story that we'll come to learn is Mina's bodyguard – note that Japan (unlike Korea) is a right-hand drive country like India, Thailand, and the British Isles; LHD cars (usually German) are considered a status symbol since they must be imported. Minsu takes a call in the car before the song begins, addressing the unheard caller as "kaichou" which often translates as "Chairman". Is Mina a Mafia Princess? Even if she isn't, why does such a well-protected person spend her daylight hours working retail? It's not plausible for the man on the phone to be her boss, and even the highest-end cosmetic companies of Japan don't assign bodyguards to employees or transport them in expensive import-spec German luxury vehicles.
    • Frankly, the Mafia Princess thing makes sense within the context of the video, as everyone treats her with deference despite her holding a lowly perfume counter job – the store itself could be a front; it does have a spa, after all. It also makes sense in the context of a number of real-life running gags about Mina – that she is so naturally elegant that even her (not-fluent) English "sounds expensive". It also isn't completely out of the ordinary for Yakuza daughters, if they're not utterly spoiled brats, to work regular jobs in order to have their own legitimate income streams just in case.
