• Anyone else wonder how Swagger was able to find where the agency goons took Nick just in time to stop them from killing him?
  • Jossed: He was specifically following Nick, and using him as bait. He was trained in counter-insurgency tactics, and even the appearance of the black van wouldn't have thrown him off for long.
• In the first Season, Swagger's wife Julie is capable, calm-witted, and holds up rather well under stress. In the second Season, she's become an easily-rattled woman who wants to fly home after a gunfight. What gives?
• Am I the only one who wonders how a US Senator has the clout to pull off the cover up of a massive slaughter for a goddamn oil pipeline in a foreign country? If he were say the CEO of an oil company I could understand that.
  • What state was he a Senator of? If he resides in one with a prominent oil industry, he may have substantial connections with the executives there. He's shown to be quite corrupt, and could simply be a figurehead under the control of the oil industry.

  • "From Montana, I think."
  • He's also meant to be an expy of Dick Cheney, who WAS a CEO of an oil company for a while.
