  • Books seemed to not want to be remembered as a murderer but rather a guy who killed in self-defense as a way of maintaining law and order, ok, but then why did he take advantage of three men with big egos and spur them into an invitation to a fight he knew they wouldn't turn down? I'm not sure if you can say that the murders are on his hands, and it's difficult to discern to what degree their crimes are worthy of death, but it wasn't necessarily self-defense and three more people would have been alive if Books simply chose to shoot himself rather than go out the way he did.

  • Why did the Marshall hate Books so much? Has that Marshall never had to kill in self-defense or understand the concept of it?

  • Why did the guy at the end charge at him with the chair?
