- Why does everybody completely forget about Thorwald's mistress after he gets arrested? When the movie ends, we still haven't a clue just who was impersonating Anna Thorwald and was seen by the witnesses Doyle visited.
- This troper thinks that because she was not the focus of the story is the reason why we don't know anything about her. We are only getting one side of the story and that is Jeff's side of the story. And he is only focused on proving that Thorwald is a killer, so he wouldn't care about the mistress, he only wants to prove that a crime took place.
- Thorwald is confessing everything in the end. He'll no doubt reveal the identities of any and all conspirators.
