  • What exactly is the point of the Phlume? It's obviously an important ingredient, as Hydia flips out when she finds out that Reeka and Draggle never collected it. It's certainly presented like it's something special too - the sisters dread having to get it (even singing an entire SONG about not doing it) and the scene with the plant takes up nearly three minutes. Hydia never says exactly what a "flash of Phlume" does. Though she does mention later the Phlume made it meaner and madder...is that it? Because apparently without this stuff, the Smooze can't get full power.
    • Speaking of which, why were Reeka and Draggle afraid to get it? The scene kinda makes it clear that they've never gotten it before, either that or they're really that inept. But then again, it looks like they're seeing it for the first time when they see the plant eat a fly.
    • Also what did the Phlume plan to do with Reeka and Draggle? Obviously punishment was on the mind; even though Draggle got off with simply being...whatever you call it was doing to her when she was holding it and getting swung around, whereas Reeka got slammed AND spanked. But...what after that? Just throw them aside and let them walk off? Also why IS a giant plant at the end of a rocky mountain? Maybe Hydia just collects various monsters, given that Ahgg seems to be in the same mountain area as the Phlume?
  • Why did Sundance laugh at her own daughter messing up?
    • Especially considering she messed things up a lot in the previous special and had huge confidence issues because of this. Even if her confidence got better by the end, it doesn't make sense for Sundance to suddenly laugh at others' failure, especially since one of the baby ponies involved in the coreography is her daughter.
