KK's final request
- In the last moments of the story, KK asks Akito to let his family know he never gave up on them. However, Akito never found out KK's original name, and the only person he knows of who might know it is Ed, someone he has no idea how to contact and has no idea he even exists. How exactly is Akito expected to follow through on the request, when the only means of figuring it out is a pair of old photographs?
- Iirc he does find out while fighting KK’s original body for the second and last time since he hears KK’s memories. Besides that he still has access to KK’s place and the modified payphones. He can probably scrounge up info on KK’s history or Ed’s phone number from there.
KK's capture
- What was the point of Yaseotoko capturing KK if he was just going to leave him in a cube, essentially undefended? Even if they considered Akito not to be a threat on his own why wasn't his cube immediately transported to Hannya like the ones we see on the street?
- Given that Yasetoko is really just a spirit animating KK's body, the risk of KK possibly regaining his body was too high. Far easier to imprison him and get him out of the way.
