  • Phoebe is shown augmenting her proton pack by sawing a piece out of the sliding pole (and then melting it in a wok pan on the stove). Never mind the Artistic License - Physics involved in that last part - we later see Nadeem slide down the pole in full Firemaster armor, so did the pole just repair itself between scenes?
    • There's multiple fire poles, she most likely used one from the upper floors.
    • There are at least four poles seen in the Firehouse, two that are seen on each side of where the Ecto-1 parks. You can see three of them in the original film when Peter, Egon and Ray get the notice of getting a call, and you can see two of them to the left of the Ecto-1 when Peck is first talking to Peter later on in the film.
  • Why were Garraka's horns kept in the same room where he was imprisoned? Couldn't Nadeem's grandmother put them in a brass container and dump it in the ocean or leave with family on the other side of the world?
    • Considering Garraka a ghost, he could easily just freeze the container and dragged it back to shore and later forcing a human to open it.
    • Brass corrodes over time, so any container used for it would need to be either maintained or replaced periodically, which eliminates the ocean method. As for family, the clan may have shrunk over time leaving only Nadeem and his brother. That would also explain why his grandmother didn't contact a more suitable person to take over the role of guarding the vault.
  • Is their any known explanation for why Melody (or, for that matter, Egon in the previous film) look like regular (albeit transparent) humans rather than the franchise's standard design of twisted, colorful, almost cartoonish ghosts?
    • Likely because they were good people while alive or got lucky with their deaths with Phoebe mentioning Melody could as easily been a smoking husk. She is noticeably on fire at all times.
    • Also, not all ghosts look twisted, colorful and almost cartoonish in the previous films. The Library Ghost is an example of this in her more docile state. The ghost in Ray's dream (which was actually a deleted scene), also retained her regular form and actually didn't have any color to her, unlike the Library Ghost and Melody.
