Headscratchers / Bluey: The Sign

  • The episode "The Decider" had led to many fans believing that Frisky is pregnant, as when the Jumbo-tron reveals her with Chili and Trixie, Frisky holds her belly for a brief moment the way many pregnant women do and then is the only one not to stand to wave at the camera; instead, she continues to sit and waves with both hands, as if it would be too much effort to stand. However, this has not been confirmed as of yet. Viewers who are/have been pregnant in real life have also pointed this out. So... Is Frisky pregnant or not?
    • At the wedding reception, when Rad says he has an announcement, Nana Chris immediately perks up, thinking that Rad and Frisky are expecting, and Rad just as swiftly says “not that announcement, mum” to her consternation. So, maybe that confirms that Frisky isn't having a baby, not yet anyway. Plus, isn't Frisky drinking alcohol close to the end of the wedding?
      • When Rad dismisses that he and Frisky are expecting, notice that he's holding a happy expression as opposed to an annoyed expression. Maybe he's just amused with the assumption (though we know that he's not against it, as Double Babysitter states that they both want children), maybe Frisky is, in fact pregnant, but they decide to keep the pregnancy on the down low until they’re certain the baby’s healthy. After all, Rad is a little older than Bandit.
      • As for Frisky's drink, maybe she was just drinking juice (orange juice maybe?)?
    • Maybe she wasn't pregnant; maybe she was holding her belly because she ate too much and that's also why she didn't want to stand up. She might have also been a bit drunk, since alcohol can make you nauseous (hence the holding her belly) and unbalanced (hence not wanting to stand up). Or maybe she wasn't as enthusiastic as Chilli and Trixie because she isn't as big on sports as them, and rubbing her belly was just incidental?
  • In the episode "Puppets", Bandit and Chilli are shown to be fully dressed at their wedding photo, with full suit and dress, meanwhile Rad and Frisky wear nothing more than a bowtie and a tiara/wedding veil respectively.
    • It might be a case similar to "Baby Race", where the writers forgot their own lore during production.
      • In-universally, maybe they want a more simplistic wedding? After all, it is held in the Heelers' backyard rather than a church or the city hall.
  • When Stripe snitches to Frisky about Rad wanting to move, which nearly ruined the wedding, Trixie is understandably upset with her husband and scolds him for it. Later on, even after things between Frisky and Rad have been resolved, Stripe and Trixie still seem to quarrel. If they're not fighting about the wedding potentially getting cancelled, then what's the matter?
    • Given that Socks' dialogue of "no, I didn't"/"yes you did" when she plays with the cake toppers seems to mirror Trixie and Stripe's argument, it might mean that Stripe, apparently, did something that ticked his wife off.
    • Taking into consideration the scenes prior and onward with them present, it could be interpreted that either a) Trixie is annoyed with Stripe for acting like a child or b) he got drunk in front of their daughters, thus Trixie believes he's setting a bad example for them. The latter, especially, could be the case, as previous episodes have shown Stripe being hungover. Later in this episode, we see a groggy, confused Stripe crawling out of Wendy's hedge the morning after the wedding, long after Trixie's taken the girls home.
    • It's also possible she's arguing about him intercepting the bouquet toss (we see Trixie facepalming over it in the photo), or it might have to do with Stripe embarrassing her by "dancing like eagles" with Grandpa Bob (the "Eagle Rock" dance at a Queensland wedding involves the groomsmen dancing in their underwear with their trousers around their ankles).
    • It's suggested here that they were arguing over who was gonna take Muffin and Socks home.
  • Given the game played in "Ghostbasket", how did Bingo not understand that selling the house meant leaving it?
    • Maybe she wrote that off as just a game.
  • Frisky and Rad managed to go the entirety of their engagement without ever once discussing where they were going to live once they were together? Not a single thought to moving furniture, a joint mailing address, vehicle registration, etc.? What was going to happen after the honeymoon?
    • Since Radley assumed that Frisky would move out west with him and Frisky assumed that they would stay in Brisbane, likely both of them believed they were thinking alike and took what they thought would happen for granted. In other words, they made assumptions and that led to miscommunication.
