Funny / Bluey: The Sign

Go To

  • Bandit's game with his daughters at the start of the episode. It's both funny and cute!
  • While Bluey begging her parents not to sell their house when she's put to bed is meant to be an emotional scene, one can't help but chuckle a bit at the mountain of plush toys that Bingo sleeps with.
  • While at Calypso's school, Bluey's classmate recounts a story of how his guinea pig ran away.
Pretzel: My mums told me he might come back... but he didn't.
    (Everyone sighs)
Rusty: Probably a snake ate him.
  • After Calypso finishes telling everyone The Story of The Chinese Farmer, all the children are baffled by its ending, asking what happens next, questions about the story and begin naming all the horses.
  • After inadvertantly revealing that Rad expects Frisky to move after the wedding, Stripe tries to escape the awkward situation by claiming that Trixie is calling for him. Trixie (who turns out to be standing just a few feet away) immediately shoots down his claim.
  • Shortly after her argument with Rad over the phone, Frisky momentarily takes the time to apologize to Jeremy the gnome statue for kicking him over not seconds ago.
    • Right after she leaves, Socks feels bad for poor Jeremy the gnome, seemingly the only one who does in the show.
  • When the girls ask to come along with Chili to find Frisky, she declines because she figures it will be easier if the children remain at home. What follows is the girls unwittingly prove that leaving them at home isn't a good idea, as they each nearly blurt out Frisky's announcement that she called off the wedding. Chili has to cover their mouths (even with her tail) just to keep the girls from saying "The Wedding's off", knowing it will open a can of worms that could ruin everyone's day and cement the wedding's cancellation. Ultimately, Chili decides bringing the girls along is less of a liability than leaving them at home.
Stripe and Bandit in response to Chili covering their mouths: Are we allowed to do that?
  • In the middle of her Heroic BSoD, Bluey is told she can sit in the front seat of the car.
  • When deciding whether or not to allow Bluey to ride in the front seat (even in the midst of the Runaway Bride crisis), she takes out her phone and reads the law about it to herself, before realizing Bluey fits the criteria to ride the front seat. Later, when the group is pulled over by the police, we cut to the police officer in question reading the same law on his phone in a similar mumbling-to-himself manner as Chili.
  • Muffin shouting "POLICE!!" in an over the top manner.
  • Chilli describing her and Frisky's relationship with the lookout.
Chilli: Frisky and I used to come up here as teenagers to, um, think.note
  • Bluey's lucky coin gets stuck in the viewfinder at the lookout. While Bluey's inclined to let this event play out ("We'll see"), Muffin, true to her usual chaos-gremlin energy, attacks the viewfinder ("NO WE WON'T SEE! We'll get this coin OUT!").
  • When Frisky throws the bouquet, Stripe suddenly runs in and grabs it. He follows up by cheering like he just caught a rugby ball (to Trixie's annoyance).
  • Muffin absolutely wolfing down her piece of wedding cake at the reception. Bluey's expression tops it off, as even little two-year-old Socks is using a spoon!
  • After being absent for several episodes, Grandpa Bob finally makes his long-awaited return. Turns out he was on a Journey to Find Oneself in India all this time.
Muffin: That's silly. Why do you need to find yourself?
Bingo: Yeah, you're right here. (Points to Bob)
    Bob: What? Ahhh!
  • During the reception, Radley prepares to make a big announcement. Nana's eyes light up, causing him to clarify it's not what she's thinking, much to her disappointment.
  • In the midst of an emotional moment between Bandit and Chilli, Bingo brings some levity from offscreen:
  • The morning after the wedding, Wendy finds Stripe passed out in her hedges.
    Stripe: "…what day is it?"
