- At the end, why did only Nancy get a funeral when her father died as well?
- Nancy's body would have been easily found in the hospital after dying, her dad died in a junkyard so it might have been harder to find it. Also, she probably had loved ones that were willing to hold a service for her. Don was a drunken, bitter old man. There was probably no one willing to pay or attend a funeral for him (except for Nancy).
- We know very little about Don's background. If he served in the military before entering law enforcement, he might have been buried in a veterans' cemetery instead.
- None of the other characters but Neil had even met Nancy's father. The surviving kids may have been granted permission to attend her funeral (and Will's and Taryn's too perhaps), to give them some closure in the wake of so much traumatic loss, but Neil's the only character who'd even have a reason to attend Don's.
- Why on earth doesn't Kristen think of calling Dr. Simms into her dreams with all the other teens? If Freddy shows, great; Simms now knows that something out of the ordinary is happening. If he stays away to try and discredit Kristen, she and the other teens will get a peaceful, Freddy-free dream.
