As a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked. You Have Been Warned.

  • There’s something darkly humorous about the hero getting killed by a chandelier. What’s even funnier is the fact that the Masked Kid seemed to already have the idea, which the other two didn’t believe would work, and their realization that they’re going through with it right before it comes crashing down on them and the hero.

  • The journal shows that the Masked Kid sometimes has difficulty hearing and pronouncing different words. For example, they mishear “Elizabeth the Fourth” as “Elizabeth the Fort”, and also say that they don’t know what fort actually means.

  • You can knock on all the apartments that aren’t your own or the fanart gallery (unless you have the keys for some of them). Some of them will have unique responses, one of which is “Are you knocking every single door!?

  • Throughout the game, you can find several keys that unlock apartments back at the castle. Eventually, the flavor text will say things like “Who keeps losing these?” And “You’re not sure if this is legal!”

  • When you unlock doors or gates (except for the apartments and password-locked doors), an explosion effect will be shown many times.

  • In the Moth Queen’s Tree, Tim and Timbolt are introduced as a moth who alternates between a naive child and a posh-sounding man, respectively. Timbolt insists on using the elevator to visit the Moth Queen even when Tim points out they can just fly up there, and when they find the elevator needs a fuse, they try to get past the two enemies guarding the gates to the basement thinking that it will be easy.
    Elizabeth: This can’t end well...
(Beating up noises are heard from offscreen)
    Elizabeth: And it didn’t.

  • The entire Fetch Quest to get a working fuse for the elevator. First you have to find and fight the two minibosses to unlock the gates leading to the basement, one of which you’ll have to race for the key only for her to fight you anyway if you win, and then there’s a very long drop down that’s made even longer by you having to slow down to avoid all the spikes. Then you have to explore the underground area to activate some moving platforms to take you into the next area. Then you find that the person with the fuse is stuck in the toilet because there’s no paper, so you have to talk to the bartender who will tell you where to get the toilet paper, but Tim and Timbolt ignore the sign saying not to touch the giant beer keg and the tree ends up flooded with beer, making most of your efforts a waste of time because now you can swim to the upper levels instead.
Elizabeth: Now that everything is flooded we can just swim to the top! No wall jump, no elevator... What a profound waste of time.

  • Just as you’re heading towards Alexandria II’s throne room, someone called Puzzleman appears out of nowhere saying that you must take part in his show, where you’ll have to solve puzzles. Elizabeth, who at this point has had enough of various setbacks, says that’s she’s already seen his puzzles so she knows the answers already, but rather than get him to leave...
Puzzleman: How about we have a short quiz!
    Elizabeth: Three questions.
    Puzzleman: Seven!
    Elizabeth: Two questions.
Puzzleman: Five questions it is, folks!

  • During the quiz, Puzzleman asks “What is the source of all evil in the world?” If you answer “Taxes”, he’ll say that taxes are a necessary evil. And if you answer “Elizabeth IV”, she’ll be offended.
    • Additionally, the next question asks what the Moth Queen’s real name is. The answers all look similar, except for the last one which is just “Hot Momma”, which if chosen, Puzzleman will say is actually a private nickname.
      • This becomes funnier in hindsight when you consider just who it is that could have given her that nickname.

  • Mr. Stitches announces that there will no longer be Taco Tuesdays in order to fund his planned siege. He then quickly and quietly announces that everyone will also have a pay cut. No one seems to realise; they’re more concerned about the former statement.

  • In Long Woods Manor, you need to get into the tower, but there is a ghost blocking the way who says he’ll only let you pass if you bring him his favourite drink. If you fail too many times, he ends up so drunk that you are able to pass anyway.

  • In the Baron’s bedroom, you encounter three spiders, one of which somehow misspells a spoken word:
Tela: What is this! We have visitors, dear sisters.
    Ara: Your so right, hah.
    Nia: It’s “you’re”, Ara.
Ara: This is a verbal conversation, Nia.

  • During Puzzleman’s second quiz, one of the questions asks who Baron van Gregory used to be, with one of the answers being “Some dude”.
    • If you answer “Elizabeth” when asked who the Baron loves the most, her reaction is amusing. If you answer “Joseph”, Puzzleman will admit that he just made that answer up.

  • One of the audience members at the ice skating competition is what appears to be a large, round bat who isn’t seen anywhere else in the game (or even fought), and no one seems to comment on it. (According to the artbook, it's an unused miniboss type enemy).

  • When the Masked Kid, Elizabeth, Bella and Handy enter the boss room, they at first think that it’s empty, not realising that they’ve landed right in front of the Baron, on his lance.

  • If you talk to Stitches again after his conversation with you before you go to World 3, he’ll get annoyed that you didn’t just let the conversation end more ominously.

  • After being captured by the tribe in Pica Pica Island, you’ll find a sign in the prison that says “Please be patient! There are others here waiting for the sweet release of death.”

  • After winning the battle to the death, Elizabeth mentions that she and the Masked Kid need to go and fight El Salserissimo, who the Chief says kidnapped some of his villagers to work for him...
Elizabeth: People stealing, huh? Sounds familiar.
Chief Yanopapi: Yes, we aware of hypocrisy. But we don’t care!

  • When Elizabeth makes a deal with the tribe that they’ll rescue the villagers from if they release the rest of minions they captured, the Chief says that as a reward the Masked Kid will have to marry one of his children. Even Elizabeth is amused by their reaction.
    • Later on, Elizabeth says that the Masked Kid can’t marry anyone because they’re underage. So the Chief says the tribe will just eat them instead. Fortunately, the group talks them out of it by giving them the stone. The Chief then claims it was just a joke.

  • Puzzleman shows up late... right in the middle of the fight with El Salserissimo, while inside his body.
    • He shows up at a bad time again while you’re trying to escape from the volcano when an eruption is imminent. Although he does drop you off outside afterwards, so it may not have been bad timing after all.
    • When he asks why Salserissimo works for Stitches, if you answer “He has a crush” (the answer you're led to believe is right), Puzzleman will say that it’s not the reason, and then quietly add that it doesn’t mean it isn’t true.

  • There’s a funny Easter Egg involving the portrait of Mr. Stitches that each of the three main bosses have; if you go the wrong way while inside El Salserissimo for the third time, you’ll find that he ate the portrait he was given.

  • After somehow getting out of the volcano that he was supposedly trapped in, and then chasing everyone all the way down it, El Salserissimo finally leaves when he realises he’s out in the open, where everyone can see him and how big he’s grown.
Elizabeth: Once again, the day has been saved by self-consciousness!

  • The Grey Kid’s rematch against the Masked Kid is cut short when they accidentally break the theatre stage and fall into a room with lots of Triviality Stones, and a door that Tim and Timbolt know the password to for some reason. After they all make their way towards a door that needs four passwords, Grey Kid decides to wait while the Masked Kid goes off to find them:
Tim: We’ll keep you company, smelly kid!
Grey Kid: I DON’T smell! I’m just- actually these clothes do kind of smell...
    Elizabeth: Good luck babysitting!

  • One of T. Bur’s logs in the Factory begins with him saying that he must be dead if anyone is reading it... before revealing that he was just joking. The Masked Kid even believes it before reading the second sentence.

  • The reveal that Tim and Timbolt are actually the Moth King is quite amusing, especially Elizabeth’s reaction to it. What’s also funny is that you probably suspected that you would meet the King at some point, only to find that you’ve already encountered him multiple times.

  • One of the Masked Kids in Heroes Road will tell you how to swim through water if you bribe them... except you’ve already learned how to do that as early as World 1.

  • Several of the other Masked Kids also have funny responses from bribing them, such as one of them believing that you can’t be the traitor because they were warned that they were “extremely cheap”, and another claiming that money won’t help only to be bought over just as easily as the rest.

  • Heroes Road has statues of Mr. Stitches everywhere, in various poses.
Elizabeth: You know what? I’ve always hated these narcissistic statues... But now that I know what he has done? I DETEST THEM!

  • In the last Puzzleman quiz, the first question asks who was the evil king before Mr. Stitches... with one of the answers being “Mr. Stitches”.
    • When asked how Queen Rena died, if you answer “Old age,” Puzzleman will say that it’s rude to ask how old someone is.

  • The second stage of the fight against Mr. Stitches? Terrifying. The implication that he was hunting for you in the darkness while naked? Not so much...
    • One of the jump scares that can appear during the second and third stages is of Stitches wearing a bikini. And over his costume as well. Especially if it gives the "Scarred" status effect.
    • The way Stitches blushes when he's caught putting his costume back on. The camera even pans away for a few seconds when he asks for some privacy.

  • When everyone is encouraging the Masked Kid and Elizabeth to defeat Puzzleman, Alexandria says that they can’t lose because they’re too stubborn and rude.

  • It’s hard to read them, but some of the dialogue on the text box platforms that appear during the final battle can be quite amusing. One of the platform ghosts gets offended by you “stepping on [their] words”, while another ghost says that you can join their party if you die.
